You Want Us To Leave?

Once the team reached the hanger, the plane landed and the back opened, allowing the soldiers to step out, followed by the femmes and Optimus.

An announcement came through the speakers, directing the twins to report to hanger 3, and the Autobots silently drove onto the base.

Eclipse sped out of the plane, zooming into an empty and driving circles around it, her energy still at a high level from the fight and being cooped up in the plane. She laughed lightly and yelled out, "Freedom! Sweet freedom!"

Critter growled at her friend's folly, transforming and quickly walking over, stomping a spider leg into the ground just in front of the two-wheeler. She hissed out, "You fool!" As Eclipse stopped quickly, swerving to avoid hitting her friend's leg, "Ahh, what?"

Critter snarled, "Some of the human soldiers died! We must show respect by remaining silent whether we like it or not!"

Eclipse whirred, "Oh, sorry..."

Critter rolled her optics, grabbing Eclipse by the back of the bike and dragging her over to the where the others were now parked and transformed into her car alt-mode.

Eclipse spun her tires as she was dragged, crying out in pain, "Ow!" Once Critter released her, she moved to go park next to Jazz, who let out a small chuckle at his girlfriend's behavior.

Critter flashed her headlights in irritation, "Oh shut up."

As they were talking, Optimus drove over to talk with the general over video, transforming to stand at the raised walkway.

Eclipse noticed a guy in a suit walking up to speak with the general and Optimus. "Jeez he looks important. What do you think he wants?"

Critter yawned over the coms, "It's a fleshie, Eclipse, no one cares."

Eclipse rolled closer to the stand, "well apparently boss and tiny boss do..."

As she rolled closer to listen to the humans and Optimus, she heard them arguing about the Decepticons. "Well, this can't be good."

Elita-1 buzzed at Critter to get her attention, "Get some rest, C. We'll let you know if anything important happens."

Critter gave a happy whirr, "Thanks, Elita." and drifted into recharge.

Eclipse continued listening closely to the humans and Optimus, becoming mildly irritated at suit guy, who was blaming Optimus and the Autobots for the Decepticon action.

"So let me ask, if we ultimately conclude that our National Security is best served by denying you further asylum on our planet, will you leave, peacefully?"

Eclipse whirred loudly in shock,  "Wait, they want us to leave?!" At that the other boys moved slightly closer, all of them listening in to Optimus.

"Freedom is your right, if you make that request, we will honour it." The man in the suit nodded, satisfied with Optimus' answer.

Optimus glanced down at the Autobots gathered around the base of the raised walkway before looking back at the man. "But, before your President decides, please ask him this: What if we leave," he leaned closer to the man, "and you're wrong?" He leaned back again to stand tall, causing Eclipse to let out a quiet cheer as Will leaned in, muttering that it was a good question.
