Dirt flew everywhere as Critter's spider legs burst out the ground and she pulled herself out of the hole and in front of the security cameras. She retracted them and held up her servos in surrender.

Inside, multiple alarms went off and alerted her presence to the Autobots, the screens showing her standing there.

Soldiers rushed out and surrounded her, aiming their guns and shouting.

The spiderbot rolled her optics. "You do realize I could very easily destroy you all? Fortunately for you, that's not what I came for. Take me to the Autobots."

Eclipse stood up slightly from where she was sitting alone, pulling out her knife. "Critter..." She whispered with an uncountable amount of emotions.

Reluctantly, the soldiers escorted Critter into a large room where every Autobot stood with their guns aimed.

Pushing through the crowd, Eclipse started making her way to the front when the purple femme walked in.

"Hello, Autobots." She smiled.

"What do you want, traitor?" Ironhide rumbled.

"I came to explain myself." She looked around. "Are the guns really necessary?"

"Yes." Eclipse glared, her tone cold.

Critter's smile completely fell and her optics narrowed. "As I was saying, I came here to explain," She paused before continuing. "I didn't kill Optimus Prime."

"Like we're going to believe anything you say." Eclipse sneered.

Getting irritated from the interruptions, Critter snapped. "Oh shut it, sniper bot. No one asked you."

"I don't care if anyone asked, I'll say what I damn well please."

"No, seriously. Shut up, we're trying to listen." Arcee huffed.

"What do you mean you didn't kill him? You said it yourself, and your servos had his energon on..." Elita-1 asked, her words trailing off at the end.

Why are they listening to her?! She's a liar! Eclipse thought to herself.

"I only said that because I needed you to think I did!"

"What?" Jazz spoke the question of everyone's minds.

"I got there ahead of you, when I did, Optimus was still alive. He was dying. But he gave me a mission." The femme explained.

Cue flashback sequence

"Critter..."Optimus coughed. "I need you to do something for me."

"Anything, what do you need?" She desperately tried to tend to the wounds.

"You must go undercover with the Decepticons." He coughed again spluttered. "As a former Decepticon, it makes the most sense. But," another cough. "You cannot tell the others. It m-must be believ- believable."

Critter's optics almost doubled in size. "But Optimus, the other Autobots, they will never forgive me!"

"You must." He sent her a file of the mission. "Till all are one." The Prime's optics flickered.

"No! NO! OPTIMUS! WAKE UP! YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP!" She screamed.

The great Optimus Prime's optics turned off as he offlined after telling Sam to run.

"Please! No, no, no! Optimus..." she bowed her head in sorrow.

His killer, Megatron was still there and growled. "Traitor! Spiderbot, why are you here, alone?"
