I Promised

Everyone was up the front listening to Optimus Prime, and Eclipse couldn't take it anymore. She headed to the back of the ship for some quiet not noticing Critter following her.

Eclipse felt tears pooling in her optics as she moved to back of ship, and say down on the edge, staring out at the water.

Critter followed her and leaned up against the wall next to her, "Long day?"

Eclipse rested her helm on the railing, "Long week," she sighed.

Critter rolled her optics, "Hmph. You would know." She walked over to stand behind the other femme, crossing her arms.

Eclipse's tears spilled over onto her faceplates, "I'm so sorry, Critter." She let out a small sob, "I cant even tell you how sorry. And I know you'll never ever forgive me, but some part of me hopes we can maybe be friends again. As foolish as that is."

Critter scoffed, "Foolish would be an understatement."

Eclipse looks over her shoulder at Critter, and pushed up onto her Pedes. "I'm sure I'm the last bot you want to see. I'll leave you alone." She turned to head back into ship, but was stopped by Critter grabbing her arm.

"You're right." She spun her around and punched her in the face hard enough to send her stumbling backward into the railing.

Eclipse landed against the rail and stayed there, not fighting back.

Critter snarled, "Fight back!"

Eclipse shook her helm, "No. I've fought you enough. I deserve this."

Critter growled, "I want you to fight back!" She landed a punch on her midriff.

Eclipse wheezed, "No."

Critter extended her spider legs and climbed on the wall, turning as she went so her face ended up opposite Eclipse, but upside down "This is why it's better to work alone. It's so sad when the bots you're close to betray you!" She slammed her fist into the wall next to Eclipse's face.

Eclipse looked her friend in the optics, "Yes, it is."

Critter jumped off the wall, grabbing Eclipse and pulling her to her pedes so she was standing in front of her.

Eclipse spoke softly, "I'm so sorry."

Critter shoved her back, "SORRY DOESN'T CUT IT!" She attacked the other femme, punching and kicking her.

Eclipse let her, just making fable attempts at defense as Critter slammed her fists into her frame.

Critter leaned into her face, "FIGHT BACK!"

Eclipse shook her head, "No."

Critter bared her fangs, "Do it!"

"No!"

"After everything you've done, YOU OWE ME!"

Eclipse shook her head again, "I'm done fighting you."

The spiderbot growled and launched herself at the two-wheeler, sending them both crashing to the floor, Critter landing on top of Eclipse.

"YOU RUINED ME!" She punctuated each sentence with a punch. "LEFT ME FOR SCRAP!" Another punch landed, causing Eclipse to cry out.

Critter scraped her clawed digits along Eclipse's arms. "YOU," A punch followed, "LEFT" and another, "ME," again, "WITH" another punch, "NOTHING!" She landed her hardest punch and Eclipse's optics flickered.

"I know."

Critter drug Eclipse back to the wall where she webbed her arms to it and her legs together and against it. "Let me show you how dangerous we spider bots can really be!"
