"Optimus!" Will Lennox shouted up at the Prime. "We just got word of a Decepticon in Shanghai, China. You need to ready your team and move out!" He barked his orders and jogged off to relay more orders to the human soldiers.
The soldier often gave news such as this. For the last two years, the Autobots had been hunting down Decepticons under Optimus' command.
"Understood Lennox." The leader turned to his teammates. "Autobots! Prepare for battle."
"Fine as long as I'm not on fleshie protection duty." Critter folded her arms and complained. "I'm all for smashing some 'Cons but I ain't doing slag for the humans." She scrunched her faceplates in disgust at the thought before going off to the weapons station to stock up on ammo should she need it.
Eclipse followed her friend to the armory, "C'mon, Critter, they aren't that bad! Some of them are really nice! Like Sam!" Critter gave a look of disgust and disbelief to the black femme, then resumed gathering weapons in silence.
That silence was broken when a flashy white and blue mech came rolling in, throwing his arm around Eclipse. She smiled up at him, her optics meeting where his lay beneath his visor, "Hey, Babe!" Critter barely looked up, muttering, "Hi Jazz." Jazz smiled back down at his girlfriend, "Hey, Moonlight. You ready to kick some punk 'Con aft?" Eclipse grinned, leaning into him, nodding.
"Of course, I'm always ready for a fight!"
Jazz moved behind her, wrapping his arms over her shoulders, leaning down.
"You're not scared?" She turned, looking up at him, whirs echoing from her system mockingly.
"Why would I be scared? I've got the bravest Mech in the universe to protect me!" Jazz laughed, leaning down to kiss her when Critter shoved between them.
"Oh please! Come on, E, we need to go." Eclipse frowned, but knew her friend was right. She stood onto the tops of her pedes and kissed Jazz on the cheek plate, then followed her friend out to the hanger.
Via Optimus and Will's orders, the team split up. Optimus, Eclipse and Critter were on the plane and Jazz, Ironhide, the twins (Skids and Mudflap), the Arcee Sisters (Arcee, Chromia and Elita-1) and Sideswipe were on the ground.
Since the second wave of Autobots had arrived, the new femmes and Critter had grown extremely close. Even going as far to consider Critter a part of their sisterhood. However, Arcee and her sisters found Eclipse childish and annoying, often saying that she acted like a sparkling and shouldn't be in the war, so they kept their distance.
Not that Eclipse minded, she was usually with Jazz anyway. The two were in a very happy relationship and were rarely seen apart when either had free time. In the meantime, she had found a better and more comfortable alt mode. A black GSXR 600, with dark blue wheels and accents. (See below)
The plane ride was quiet. Critter and Optimus were mentally preparing themselves for the coming battle so Eclipse decided to keep her mouth shut. She knew her friend was easily aggravated when she was deep in thought and now didn't seem like the best time.
//Arcees, get ready to launch.// The announcer ordered.
//We're locked and loaded.//
//Hey girls, you ready?// Critter commed the sisters.
//You bet we are.// Arcee replied.
//How about you?// Elita-1 questioned.
//I'm ready to bash some Decepticon heads in but I probably won't be able too since they'll want me flying all the time.// She sighed.
