alex's head lifted slightly in response to the soft knock on his door. he had known that david was coming over with his food so he had unlocked it so he could lay on the couch with bailey and have nothing else to worry about because, let's be honest, he liked bailey more than anyone,"come in!" he shouted, eyes watching the hall that lead to the door.
david strolled in with the bag of mcdonalds in his hand, setting it on the pure white coffee table,"here." he said, plopping down next to the other.
sitting up, alex handed bailey to david, laying the little white ball of fur on his chest," thanks, for being such a great friend , david. " he said, digging through the bag and getting his food out.
david shook his head and laughed just slightly, hands resting in the pockets of his hoodie as he studied the bunny on his chest, head tilted slightly to the side," i know... can i put bailey away? i don't want her fur on me. " he said, cocking a brow at alex as he waited for a reply.
alex just nodded his head and laid back on the couch, lounging around comfortably in his grey hoodie and shorts.
david stood and took bailey, carrying her to the cage carefully before placing her inside and shutting the cage door," i still can't believe the stuff I do for you "
" shut up, david, you love me. " he said, eating his food. once david sat back down, alex leaned against him, pressing play on the show he had been watching.
" dude please don't tell me you're seriously watching this. "
" david said with a laugh as mean girls started playing on the tvalex " sh'd " the other, shoving a fry in his mouth as he stayed pressed into his side, eyes focused on the screen," look, it's a good movie, and it's october. mean girls day wasn't even that long ago. " he said, shaking his head.
david stared at him for a moment before sighing," i can't believe you're like this – "
" like what? " alex questioned, a brow raised. there was a very very small frustrated undertone, but although it was faint, david could spot it easily.
" nevermind. " he said, laying his arm on the back of the couch behind the others shoulders.
alex huffed slightly, eyes focusing back on the tv as he ate. he was more frustrated at himself for getting angry at what david said than anything. after all, he was just playing around. maybe alex wasn't even ready to be around someone as perfect as david. he didn't deserve it.
