Beinteeha - Rajveer-Naina

Prologue

It's a dark and stormy night, everything is silent, everything is grey. The ghost-grey mist crawls on the rough dirt path. The arms of the trees stabs at the wind and moves like a deadly cobra, ready to strike.

Shivering like an autumn leaf, he tiptoes along the path which seems as if it will last forever.

In a heart stopping moment, he hears heavy breathing and humid, breath breathe down his neck. With horror, he turns around, reluctantly, and finds her standing right in front of him.

Anger takes place inside him as he starts taking steps towards her. Reaching her, he grabs her left elbow, pulling her to him. They lock eyes immediately. Looking intensely in her eyes, he finds nothing, but fear, in her eyes. Not being able to take this anymore, she lowers her eyes.

"Ye kya bewakoofi hai Naina? Tum itni raat ko jungle mein kya kar rahi ho? Kyun tum mujhse door bhaagh rahi ho yoon?"

he questions her angrily

Hesitantly, Naina looks back up in his eyes. Jerking his hands away, she reluctantly takes a step back. Her heart doesn't want to do this, but her mind over powers her heart.

"Maine aapse pehle bhi kaha hai Rajveer or ab bhi kehti hoon, mujhse door rahiye. Issi mein aapki bhalai hai"

replies Naina with a shaky voice

Rajveer's anger reaches to a next level. He storms towards her, grabbing her wrist, pulling her to a nearby tree, he pins her.

"Kya chupa rahi ho tum mujhse? Aisa konsa raaz hai jis ki wajah se tum mujhe aapne aapse door kar rahi ho? Kyun nahi maan leti ke tum bhi mujhse pyaar karti ho?"

questions Rajveer

Naina's heartbeat picks up pace by every passing second. She cannot reveal the truth to him. If she does, it'll hurt him more, so it's better for both of them to stay away from each other.

"Mein aapse pyaar nahi karti samjhay aap? Or aap us raaz ko raaz hi rehne dein toh acha hai, aapke liye bhi or mere liye bhi"

yells Naina

With that, she pushes him slightly, in order to go from there. As soon as she frees herself, she runs from there, leaving Rajveer behind in a dark-stormy jungle.
