Beinteeha - Rajveer-Naina

Chapter 6

A shocked Naina looks towards Rajveer and then back towards her office that is on fire. She doesn't understand what exactly she should do at this moment. She feels as if her whole career is burning in front of her and she is not able to do anything.

All her legal documents, her property papers and everything was in a locker that was in her office and now, nothing is left anymore. No, she cannot let this happen. She needs to save her office. She cannot just let her career go into waste just like that.

Not caring about herself, she runs towards her office.

"Noooo!!!"

yells Naina

Rajveer, who has been witnessing all this from a distance, his heart skips a beat as he sees Naina running towards the burning office. And this is it for him to react. How can he let her kill herself like this? He immediately runs after her and in no time, he reaches her, finally. Grabbing her wrist, he pulls her towards him as he refrains her from going towards her office.

"Stop it Naina"

yells Rajveer as he struggles to keep her in his grip

Naina constantly tries to push him off, but in vain. She constantly tries to run towards her office while her eyes starts brimming with tears.

"Choriye mujhe...Let me go!!"

yells Naina as she keeps struggling

At this point, Rajveer has a hard time controlling her. He makes his grips even tighter while he puts both of her arms at her back.

"Dimagh kharab hogaya hai tumhara Naina. Akal se kaam lo. Jal chuka hai tumhara office. Kyun apni jaan dena chahti ho tum?"

Rajveer yells with rage in his voice

Reality finally drowns upon Naina. She immediately stops struggling as she keeps staring at Rajveer. His words keeps ringing in Naina's ears. Finally, she pushes Rajveer off with a jerk. And in no time, she throws her right hand on his left cheek. The sound of the slap is heard by everyone while they all stare at Rajveer and Naina in utter shock.

"Aap itna gir sakte hain ye maine kabhi bhi nahi soocha tha Mr. Shekhawat. Kyun jalaya aapne mera office? KYUN?"

yells Naina as she grabs Rajveer's collar

This causes everyone to gasp out loud. Rajveer stands there still as he tries to digest what has exactly happened. His right hand turns into a fist as his eyes starts blazing with anger.

He immediately grabs Naina by her shoulders.

"Mujhe nahi pata tha ke tumhari sooch itni ghatiya hai Naina. Maine tumhara office nahi jalaya"

Rajveer yells back

This frustrates Naina all the more. She jerks Rajveer's hands away as she distances herself from him.

"Jhoot bol rahe hain aap"

accuses Naina

Just then, Maria comes there and stands right next to Naina. Maria looks in Naina's eyes.

"Ma'am Mr. Shekhawat sach bol rahe hain. Inho ne kuch bhi nahi kiya. In fact, aapke aane se thori dair hi pehle ye yahan pe aaye and he made sure everyone is safe. He helped some of the staff members to come out of the building"

explains Maria

This causes Naina's eyes to widen out of surprise and she looks towards Rajveer, she doesn't believe this. Looking back towards Maria, Naina glares at her.

"Bakwas!! Sab bakwas hai. I am sure ye aag bhi inhon ne hi lagwai hogi. Or jab lag gayi toh aa gayye bachane takke inh pe kisi ko shak na ho"

yells Naina

At this point, Naina doesn't realise what exactly she is saying. At this moment, she doesn't want to trust anyone who takes Rajveer's side.

On the other hand, Rajveer's anger rises. He grabs Naina's elbow and drags her towards his car while he pins her there.

"Tumhe jo sochna hai tum sooch sakti ho Ms. Naina Singh Ahluwalia but remember one thing, tumhe is thappar ki keemat jhukani parhegi"

yells Rajveer

This irks Naina all the more. She pushes him away while she points her index finger towards Rajveer as she throws daggers at Rajveer with her burning eyes.

"Mera sab kuch toh mujhse cheen lia aapne. Ab kya baaki reh gayya hai? Ab kya aap meri izzat ke sath khilwaar karenge?"

yells Naina without realising what she has just uttered.

Naina's words succeeds in making Rajveer's heart to skip a beat and the blood drains out of his face. How dare she? Did she just accuse him? How can she even think he can fall this low and even think about raping her? 

Automatically, Rajveer's hand comes up.

"Naina!!"

he yells

And before his hand could come in a contact with Naina's face, he stops himself. He can never ever think about raising his hand on a women, especially Naina.

Grabbing her arm, he puts pressure on it, leading Naina to moan out of pain.

"I will make sure you don't ever find a job and trust me, I'll be waiting for the day when you'll come and beg me to hire you"

says Rajveer, more like a warning

In frustration, Naina pushes him off with a jerk, leading Rajveer to almost fall on the ground, but he manages to stand. With her right hand's index finger, Naina points it towards him while her eyes starts blazing with anger.

"Mein mar jaongi lekin aapke paas job ke liye kabhi nahi aaongi"

replies Naina

This brings a devilish smirk on Rajveer's face.

"We will see!"

says Rajveer

With that, smirking, he puts back on his glasses that he took off earlier. Sitting in his car, he drives away leaving Naina behind.

As soon as Rajveer leaves, Naina collapses on the ground as she bursts out into tears. She regrets the day she met Rajveer. She regrets the time she fell in love with this man.

Maria wants to console Naina but at this time, she knows it's better to leave Naina alone because right now, she needs to shed tears because that's the only way she will feel better. Maria is very well aware of the relationship Rajveer and Naina have.

"Agar nafrat aisi toh inh ki mohobatt kaisi hogi?"

mumbles Maria

With that, she leaves from there.

At this point, Naina has nothing left. Her whole career is gone. All the properties that she bought, the legal papers are burnt with the office. God knows what she will do now. God knows how she will support her mother now. Since the time her father passed away, Naina has been her mother's only support. She had lost everything today. What will she do now? And there is no way she will ever beg Rajveer for a job.

Both Naina's and Rajveer's hatred has come to this extent that they have been accusing each other for everything. Will they ever be able to come close?
