Chapter 2

At one of the award functions, Rajveer has been invited to attend it as he has been nominated for the "best businessman of the year" award.

In a black classy suit, he enters the elegant hall that is filled with lots of people that are clapping for him. With no expressions on his face, he makes his way through the crowd towards his seat. Walking nonstop, he suddenly halts in his tracks as his gaze falls on someone who is also present there.

Yes, she is none other than Naina Singh Ahluwalia. Naina feels someone's strong and intense gaze. Looking in that direction, she realises that he is staring at her as his eyes expresses nothing but anger.

Scared of what her eyes might reveal, she lowers her eyes and acts as if she does not know him. Ignoring him, Naina looks in the other direction. This succeeds in reaching Rajveer's anger. He has had enough. Automatically his right hand turns into a fist.

Rajveer is unable to tolerate such behaviour from the women he has fallen in love with. No, there is no way he is pressuring her to accept his love. The only thing he wants is to know about the raaz she has been hiding this whole time. He just wants to confess his feelings and would like to know about hers as well. The fact that she is avoiding him when she is also in love with him, this irritates him. He knows she loves him, but is afraid to express it. Afterwards, if her answer is a "no", then there is no way he will bother her ever again. He is a true gentleman who respects every women!

"Aaj mein jaan kar rahoonga ke tum mujhse kya chupa rahi ho Naina"

mumbles Rajveer under his breath

Knowing she won't look towards him, Rajveer makes his way towards his seat, angrily.

Soon, the award function begins. One by one, the awards are announced. Now, it's finally time for the announcement of the "best businessman of the year" award. While others are cheering, Rajveer's full concentration is on Naina.

"And the best businessman of the year award goes to....Mr. Rajveer Singh Shekhawat"

This announcement breaks Rajveer's trace. Hearing his name, he looks towards the front. While the hall is filled with claps, Rajveer gets up from his seat and makes his way towards the stage.

Getting on the stage, he receives his award while his full attention is on Naina. A smile starts to creep on Rajveer's lips as he sees Naina's reaction. Looking deeply in her eyes, her eyes reveals how happy she is for him to receive this award while a gorgeous smile is playing on her lips.

Naina realises and notices him gazing at her with a smile. She quickly lowers her eyes and her smile vanishes. This succeeds in making Rajveer's heart to skip a beat. Why is she hiding so much from him?

Still staring at Naina, he goes towards the mike to say few words.

"Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen! I am honoured to receive this award in such an early stage of my career. There is someone I would like to dedicate this award to, to the women I love. And she is...

announces Rajveer but stops abruptly as he tries to see Naina's reaction.

As soon as Rajveer utters these words, Naina starts to feel uncomfortable. She lowers her eyes out of nervousness. Seeing her reaction, a satisfactory smile creeps on Rajveer's lips. At this moment, he is sure about her feelings. He has decided that he will find out the truth.

"And she is none other than my mother!"

Rajveer completes his sentence.

As soon as these words escapes from Rajveer's mouth. Naina takes a sigh of relief. Hell there is no way he will ever make her uncomfortable.

Soon the award function comes to an end. As soon as it finishes, Naina gets up from her seat. With the help of the crowd, she tries to escape from this situation.

Naina succeeds in escaping from the hall. Taking a sigh of relief that she won't have to face Rajveer's questions, she freely walks towards her car when she is pulled by a pair of strong hands.

This happened so quickly that Naina could not protest. The next moment, she finds herself in a black BMW. She looks around her surroundings to
examine what the hell is actually happening. Looking towards her right, she finds the man who she has been trying to run away from, Rajveer. And before she could understand, Rajveer starts the car.

Not wanting to go with him anywhere, Naina looks towards her left and tries to open the door. But before she could do such a thing, Rajveer grabs her right hand's wrist with his left hand, pulling her to him.

As Naina tries to protest to get out of his hold, Rajveer makes his grip even tighter.

"Choriye mera hath!! Ye kya kar rahe hain aap?"

yells Naina

Not wanting to hear her words, Rajveer makes no effort to look towards her while he keeps driving. This behaviour of Rajveer irks Naina. Constantly, she tries to get out of his grip, but fails miserably.

"I said Leave my hand Mr. Rajveer Singh Shekhawat"

she yells again

At the sudden yelling, Rajveer applies the breaks immediately. Without leaving her wrist, he looks towards her and pulls her closer to him. His eyes blazing with anger.

"Chup chap baitho Naina. Try to speak again and I am warning you, I have other ways to shut you up"

he warns her strictly

A shiver goes through Naina spine as she realises what exactly he is pointing towards. Her cheeks starts turning red out of shyness. Realising she isn't protesting anymore, Rajveer leaves her wrist and continues driving.

She knows what's coming next, but she has promised herself. There is no way she will tell him the truth or confess her feelings for him. But you have forgotten Naina, you are dealing with Rajveer Singh Shekhawat. Don't forget that he gets what he wants.
