Beinteeha - Rajveer-Naina

Chapter 8

After her interview with Rajveer, Naina comes out of the office in a search of a place to live in Faridabad. Sure Delhi is about an hour drive to Faridabad, but it'll be a bit hard for her to reach the office every morning.

After few hours of looking, Naina is finally able to find a house on rent which is affordable for her. The house has two rooms, a small kitchen, 3 washrooms, a small living room and a beautiful garden. The house isn't big, but it's very beautiful.

Reaching back to Delhi, Naina informs her mother that they will be shifting today to Faridabad. After biding goodbye to Maria and her other staff members, Naina and her mother comes to Faridabad. Something Naina isn't able to understand is; how did she get such a nice, yet a small house, with the rent of 2000 rupees per month? She silently thanks the owner of that house.

Around 8pm at night, they are done shifting. Right now, the house is still a mess because it will take some time for them to fix everything. As for today, they are done for the night. After a tiring day, both Naina and Meera just want to go to bed. And this is exactly what they do, they both drifts off to sleep. For Naina, the only thought that is in her mind is working with Rajveer tomorrow.

Next Morning

At exactly 8:00am, Naina reaches the office. Today is her first day, she does not want to be late and get scolded by Rajveer. She knows how he is. He hates people who come late. And she is sure that he wants a small reason to insult her.

As she walks towards her new cabin, which is next to Rajveer's, she is stopped by Maya.

"Hello Ms. not-so-intelligent Ahluwalia"

says Maya irritated

This drags Naina's attention. She halts in her tracks. Turning around, she finds Maya staring at her with dirty looks.

"Hello to you too Ms. Bossy"

replies Naina with the same irritation

Naina is a different type of girl. She doesn't sweet talk with rude people. If someone is nice to her, she is nice, but if someone is rude, Naina is the same with them. Naina was nice to Maya yesterday, but not anymore because clearly Maya doesn't deserve that.

This brings a frown on Maya's face.

"Excuse me? Tumne kya bulaya mujhe?"

questions Maya

With a smirk, crossing her arms over her chest, Naina walks towards Maya and now stands right in front of her.

"Wohi jo tumne suna. And now, you excuse me"

replies Naina

This attitude of Naina's frustrates Maya. Rolling her eyes, Maya flies away from there, stomping her feet. As soon as Naina turns around to go in her cabin, she collides with a figure.

"I am so sorry"

she apologizes without looking

"I am sorry too. Maine aapko dekha nahi"

replies the other person
