Hey people sorry i haven't posted in while. So here goes!----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
April's POV:
The car ride was silent. It was in a way eerie, i felt like i was on my way to my execution so the silence fit. My nana had given up the fit for me, she had seen Summer as "worthy of the position of being a mother." I had been given away to a complete stranger and my grandmother was being so freaking proper! Three hours after leaving my nana's house we pulled up in front of and simple house; It was white with forest green shutters and a matching green door, there was a white picket fence looping around the house and flowers in the yard, I would have been in love had i not been so damn upset.
My grandmother sighed and leaned back in her pristine leather seat. "April hun I love you remeber that alright. And just know that i'll always be here so just give me a ring when you need me and i'll be out the door in a jiffy." A single tear rolled down her face as she climber out of the car. I sat there in silence for a while more, Nana had retrieved my bags and was standing outside my car door. She opened the door and i slowly made my way out of the metallic shelter.
my grandmother picked up my bags, wrapped an arm around my shoulder, and together we walked towards the little fence. I took the slight pause at the fence to take a better a look around, the yard looked pretty much the same up close, in the driveway was a clean mercedes e350 coupe. We entered through the fence and before either of us got close enough to knock on the door, it swung open. There stood summer, her blonde hair swept into a ponyail, she was wearing paint splattered overalls and a pair of light blue converse.
"Oh my i'm sorry i didn't hear you pull up othewise i would have helped with the bags." She said frantically trying to apologize, WHile Nana shook off her apologies with a smile. "Well come in please." She smiled giving them room to enter. " Well i would love to stay but i have to get back to grandpa. You know how he gets." SHe bent down hugged April then swiftly exited the house.
" Well that was a bit awkward, although the exit was just like her." Summer joked.
"What do you mean the exit was just like her?" I questioned.
"Oh well um, er you see thats exactly how she left me at boarding school the first time."
"Boarding school?"
"Well yes you see, i was "bad" so my mom decided, "hey lets send our kid off to england"! And you guessed it she did." She said with a bit of venom in her voice.
"Dad almost sent me to a boarding school in england called greenbriers, i convinced him otherwise!" I said laughing at the memory.
"Greenbriers? Wierd that's where i went!" Summer yelled. At that exact moment my stomach decided to growl, causing Summer to burst into laughter.
"Well what would you like for dinner?" She asked walking into the kitchen with me following closely in tow.
She searched her cabinets, then turned around holding a box of cereal."Maybe i really should have gone shopping." she said more to herself than me.
"Oh no it's quite all right, lucky charms are my favourite!" I said getting excited, Summer smiled. "Let me use my magical mind powers, and i guess Margaret didn't let you have lucky charms?" she asked a hint of amusement in her voice. I shook my head, then suddenly it clicked.
"Oh my God, Nana's your mom?!"
She laughed. "Yep."
"So it's you in all those pictures?" she nodded, smiling. "But the baby's always wearing blue!" i yelled.
"She said i wasn't befitting of pink because i looked to much like a boy. I will never understand that woman." she mumble the last part turning to retrieve the milk.
"Well you sure showed her!" I yelled, realizing i felt extremely comfortable sitting here. She had just come back to the table, but when she heard that she threw her head back laughing hysterically. Suddenly i said what i had been thinking but im not sure why. "YOu look so young, you have to be too young to be my mom." i blushed realising what i had said.
She laughed nervously. "You could um say im too young in fact most would. Im 31 currently, and i was 16 when i had you. "
" BUt my dad, he was almost 40?!" I screamed and questioned at the same time"----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
