It had been a while since that night, I had gotten better and Nirvana's first album was almost done. I was happy for Kurt and the guys watching what went into the making of all of it made me even happier. Things were starting to become something I had not anticipated, something more adventurous than anything I had ever seen and the simple fact that Kurt wanted me around was even better.

"What are you thinking about babe?" He asked as I sat not moving a muscle almost statue like.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking about everything." I said sighing a happy sigh. I didn't really know what that was like.

"You're happy aren't you?" He asked me smiling. I loved every minute that I spent with him, he was everything to me.

"Yeah I am, things seem like they're falling into place." I said smiling wanting to sigh happily

He didn't say anything he just smiled at me. It was that goofy grin that  I liked so much. I just felt as though things were going to be okay as I had the best guy ever and I had my best friend. This truly did feel like heaven on earth.

"Rhi, tell me do you really like this album?" He asked starting to second guess himself.

"Of course I do it's unlike anything I've heard." I said smiling.

"Thanks." He said looking down at the floor. I knew he was trying to hide the fact that he was blushing, he seldom did that but when he did it was adorable as hell.

"Your welcome."  I smiled and started getting closer to him.

We sat there once more in silence, not an uncomfortable silence but a silence none the less. I just wanted to spend forever like that.

"When we leave to go on the road I wanted to know if you would come with us." Kurt said smiling but not looking at me.

"Are you sure?" I asked a little shocked.

"Yes, I think it would be great to have you with us and besides someone has got to keep us out of trouble." He said grinning.

"Alright, if you want me to go I'll go." I said smiling thinking that it was going to be nuts.

"Rhi, I don't know how I got lucky enough to find a girl like you. " He said laying his head on my shoulder.

"I'm tired." I whispered as I stood up taking his hand and taking him with me. We laid there it calm and peaceful and it was so easy to fall asleep to.

Although my sleep was not as calm as the environment around me because I was having a nightmare. I could feel everything the cash on my leg the shortness in my breath as I ran. I felt like no matter how fast I was moving it still wasn't fast enough. What felt like an eternity late I awoke with short breath and panting.

I say up and looked around the room. I glanced at the clock it was just after 3 in the morning and I knew I wasn't getting anymore sleep and I didn't want to wake Kurt. I slipped out of bed light as a feather so Kurt didn't know that I left the bed.

I went out to the front of the house and started walking out the door. I decided to walk with no shoes around Aberdeen because I didn't wanna sit at the house. I walked for a while before I found a park and a bridge to hide under and I say down. I wasn't sure what time it was. Later on I fell asleep smoking a cigarette under the bridge.

*Kurt's POV*

I woke up to the bed next to me empty, I thought that was odd Rhi usually sleeps longer than me. Maybe she's just up early in the kitchen or smoking a cigarette I thought.

I walked out to the living room and saw no signs of her, or in the kitchen. I walked out front and I didn't see her so I decided to call over to Kassandra and Krist see if she was hanging out with them.

"Hello?" Kassandra answered in her high pitched mouse like voice.

"Is Rhi over there with you?" I asked beginning to feel nervous.

"No why? Is she not at the house? I know she doesn't work today." Kassandra said.

"No I woke up and she was gone her stuff is here looks like she didn't even take shoes. She didn't leave a note either." I told her.

"That's not like her, hold on I'm getting Krist up and were coming to get you and we'll go look for her." Kassandra told me before she hung up the phone. It didn't take long for Kassandra and Krist to get to me. We looked at her job and every place she liked and when we didn't find her we started checking the local parks. Still saw no sign of her.

I decided to walk over to the bridge and go under it like I normally did. That's where I finally found her. Curled up in a ball sleeping under the bridge.

"Krist! Kassandra! Over here!" I shouted to them. Rhi still didn't wake up. Her breathing steady she was still asleep as they walked up.

"Oh my god what is doing sleeping under a bridge in Autumn in Washington?" Krist exclaimed exasperated.

"I don't know man but let's get her back to our home so she can warm the hell up she's freezing." I said as I picked her up like a princess as we walked back towards Krist's car. I held her sleeping frame close to me. I had been so worried about her. Before long she started to stir. She opened her eyes and began to look around before fixating her gaze upon me.

   "Kurt." She croaked.

"Yes?" I whispered before kissing her head.

"I know I scared you and I'm so sorry. I couldn't sleep so I took a walk and I guess I fell asleep in the park." She said all in one rushed breath.

"It's okay Rhi, I just love you and don't want to lose you." I said holding her closer to me yet.
