*Kassandra's POV*

I had just gotten out of the hospital and my mom said that she wanted me to leave home something about it being safer for me that way and I don't get it. I asked her where I should go and she said I should go out to Aberdeen with Rhi, she says thats where she's taking me. Apparently we were leaving the very next day. Little did I know she would be leaving me there.

*Rhi's POV*

I sat there not a worry in the world  with Kurt. We sat in my motel room, talking and laughing. I was completely unaware that Kass had been released from the hospital or that her mom was taking her out here.

"So Rhi, what's your favorite book?" Kurt asked.

"20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Jules Verne."  I said with a grin.

"Interesting I don't think I ever read that one." He said with a laugh.

"Let me guess you only read comic books?" I said voice heavily laced with sarcasm.

"No I read other books, I just prefer ones with more pictures than words." He said in a defiantly smart ass tone.

"Do you like Fairy Tales?" I asked curious about whether or not he liked things like that.

"Some of them but not the really girly ones." He said with an amused half chuckle.

"Very interesting." I said rubbing my chin with my fingers trying a to be a wanna be comedian. I got him to laugh and that's what I was looking for.

Then the phone in my room rang it was my momma. I was a little confused.

"Hey Rhi, darling I have some news to tell you." She said when I answered.

"What is it momma?" I asked.

"Kassandra is healed and out of the hospital. And tomorrow she is leaving to be out in Washington her mom doesn't want her staying around the bad people she started to hang around after you left." My mom said, and my jaw hit the floor in shock.

"Wow that is some news, you do know I'm still in motel room right?" I asked.

"Yes I do but don't worry all in good time Rhi. I'm sure Kass and you will help each other out like you always do." My mom said.

"You're right momma, but I gotta let you go so I can do laundry." I said trying to think of a way to end the phone call.

"Okay darling talk to you later." She said before hanging up the phone.

"Was that your mom?" Kurt asked.

"Yeah she was calling me to tell me that Kassandra is okay and out of the hospital." I said not ready to tell him that she was also coming out here.

"Well that's good, I'm glad that your friend is okay. I have another question for you if you don't mind." He said rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"Sure what is it?" We'd been friends since I moved here two months ago. We've been dating for about a month. He should've known it was okay to ask me any question.

"We've been together for a while now and I wanted to know if you wanted to come stay with me instead of this run down motel room." He said looking me in the eyes.

"I don't know what to say." I said having trouble taking in what he just said.

"How about yes?" He said laughing a little.

"Yes." I said laughing a little as well.

"Great well why don't we get you and your stuff over to my place so you can stop wasting money on the motel room." Kurt said getting to his feet and dragging me with him.

Some part of me deep inside was wondering what brought all of this on. I didn't have much so it didn't take us long to gather it all. Getting it over to his house didn't take long either. I was wondering why Kassandra's mom would push so hard for her to be out in Washington.

"What are you thinking about Rhi?" Kurt asked as I sat across from him.

"Nothing just thinking of how I got here, I never thought that I'd ever be much. Hell or even find someone that looks at me the way you do." I said telling him only part of what I was thinking about.

"Really Rhi? Its simple, I've never met anyone like you and I simply love being around you." He said gazing into my eyes smiling never breaking eye contact.
