Dees POV
"Hey skitty and buneary wait up" I yelled laughing me and my two Pokémon were playing tag in the backyard "got you" I laughed tagging buneary on the head causing her to trip and me to fall over her we then looked at each other and laughed we were going to play again when my mom yelled out the door "Dinners Ready" race you I said to both of my Pokémon

As I entered the door the smell of spaghetti filled my nostrils yayyy spaghetti my favorite  I said while picking up the bag of Pokémon food for my Pokémon as I was pouring the food I heard the door open all of a sudden my dad picked me up spinning me around causing me to laugh " dad I'm not a little kid" I said holding back the laughing" "your still my little boy"  my dad said putting me down in the chair as he petted skitty and buneary.

"How was work at the gym today honey" my mom said as she handed dad his plate you see my dad is a gym leader he is a professional in ice type" it was great honey the challengers are getting stronger and stronger every day " " hey dad when we get through eating can we have a practice battle again pleaseeee "
"Sure sure calm down" my dad said ruffling my black hair
~after dinner ~

Me and dad rushed to the backyard (you see since my dad was a gym leader he obviously had to have a little gym area to practice with) I think he was more excited then me as we stood on opposite sides of the arena my dad started explaining the rules not like I didn't already know them since I wasn't old enough to go on a journey of my own I spent most of my time learning about Pokémon

"Let the battle begin" my dad yelled

I pulled out a Pokédex my dad gave me a while back for my birthday to help my study on Pokémon

Cryogonal the crystallizing Pokémon They are composed of ice crystals. They capture prey with chains of ice, freezing the prey at -148 degrees Fahrenheit.

"Woah dad when did you catch that" I said looking at the Pokémon "just this morning I thought I would give it a try" dad replied
"Wow okay skitty come help me out I said throwing a poke ball in the air as a flash of light appeared forming into the shape of a yawning skitty

Skitty the kitty pokemon Skitty is known to chase around playfully after its own tail. In the wild, this Pokémon lives in holes in the trees of forests. It is very popular as a pet because of its adorable looks.
Okay  cryogonal use ice beam the cryogonal charged up a blue beam shooting it at skitty "skitty use blizzard and counter skitty took a deep breath and huffed outwards sending a cold gust of wind towards the incoming ice beam causing a huge icy explosion "now skitty use focus punch" skitty tail was covered in a light blue aura as she charged at the opposing cryogonal Pushing him backwards a little "

okay cryogonal use rapid spin the cryogonal then turned sideways and spinner like a razor hitting skitty she stood up wobbling from the hit losing energy every second " are you okay skitty it's now or never use metronome" skitty's tail began to wave in a hypnotic motion when it finally stopped the cryogonal was coming at ad at full speed "now skitty" I yelled  skitty unleashed a full powered flamethrower sending the cryogonal to the ground and down for the count

Cryogonal is unable to battle dee is the winner and also late for bed my mom said As she walked outside I ran to skitty and hugged her " you were amazing skitty"
~time skip~
As mom and dad were  tucking me into bed my mom whispered to me "goodnight my future champion" 
"Good night mom I love you " I said before closing my eyes
