Bella's POV
I stand outside in the rain, waiting for mom to pick me up. I'm lost in thought so I jump when Tyson touches me shoulder.
"Penny for your thoughts," he smiles and actually hands me a penny.
"I was thinking... About you. And how people judge you without knowing you or your intention." I look down and blush. After hearing his story I feel bad. I was one of those people who judged him without hearing his story or knowing him.
He smiles back, his beautiful eyes gazing into mine. I hand him the penny back. "Penny for your thoughts."
"I was thinking about how I think I've met a special girl." he says. Tyson then winks and walks away.

I sit down on my bed, a huge grin on my face. I know I vowed to not fall for Tyson but... He seems so genuine. I'm so confused. I need girl advice. I decide to call Chloe. She picks up straight away.
"Hey girlie. What up?" she chirps happily.
"I need your advice."
"Ooh on what? Makeup? Clothes?" she guesses.
"Nope. Well yes actually, but another time. Right now I need advice on Tyson Finns." I say. There's a silence.
"What about him?" she asks, her voice now hard and stern.
"Well, I kinda have feelings for him and I think he has them for me too..."
I start.
"NO! BELLA! Remeber what you said. You said you would stay away from Tyson and not fall for him: he's a player. I wish I'd stayed away." she sighs.
"Hes not a player. Not anymore, not since last year." I glare and then realize she can't see me.
"Yeah. How do you know that? Let me guess... He TOLD you." She sneers.
"Well... Yes he did but..."
"Bella, two months ago Tyson was with me. He used me." she says, hurt in her voice. "That's hardly a year ago."
"He told me this story and I think your just jealous because you broke up with him and now you want him back and..."
"WAIT!!" She screeches. "I did not break up with him. He broke up with me. It broke my heart." she sobs. I listen, silenced. "I thought we had something special. We went out for about three weeks. Then one day I went round to his. We had sex. When it ended I said something like oh my parents want to meet you, because your my boyfriend. He stared at me and said I'm just using you for sex. Your so good at it. I don't love you." She stops and just cries but I don't feel like comforting her. She'd making it up: I know she is. She must be.
"I bet your lying because you don't want me to be happy and have a nice hot boyfriend for once. You just don't want to feel bad about yourself so your trying to stop my chances." I hiss. "And even if he did say that it's because you act like such a slut and you give guys like him the wrong idea. Me and Tyson have got a shot, I'm sure of it. Stop holding me back!" I scream and hang up.
I need another opinion. Someone who isn't biased. Jenifer. I call her. Unlike Chloe, it takes her a while to pick up.
"Hey Jenny, I have a problem. Wanna grab a coffee with me and discuss it? It's urgent!" I say. I hear some muffled sobs on the other end of the line. "Jen? What's happening? You alright? JEN?!?"
She just sniffles in response.
"Okay Jen can you hear me? Are you listening?"
"Yy..yes..." she sniffles.
"Meet me at Starbucks in twenty minutes, okay?"
"...okay."
I hang up and proceed to get dressed for the chilly weather outside, all the while thinking about what on earth is going on with Jenifer. She seemed really upset.

What do you think is wrong with Jenifer?
I hate how Bella isn't even with Tyson and yet just by speaking to him it's already ruining her friendship with Chloe :/
