It's better to have one real friend then ten fake friends
Bella's POV
"Tyson's coming to my house after school tomorrow." I say to Jen at lunch.
"Already? Bella, it was only yesterday I told you to be safe and cautious and your already asking him round your house?" Jen puts down her doritos and looks at me. "Seriously Bella. Have you been brainwashed or something? It was only like, three days ago that you were saying that you would never get involved with him, or any player for that matter, and now your inviting him to your house?"
"It's just for our science project." I defend myself. "I didn't choose to be partners with him, Mr Spencery made us."
"Yeah wow how bad for you." she remarks sarcastically. "All you've done since he spoke to you in detention is talk about him. I bet you will make a big thank you card to Mr Spencery for putting you two together."
"Stop it!" I nudge her. "No I won't. Remeber, I didn't chose him did I?"
"One what has that got to do with anything I just said? Two: maybe you didn't chose him, but I bet you wouldn't swap him, would you? And didn't you chose to have feelings for him? Or did Mr Spencery make that happen too?" Jen says crossly.
"Let's just shut up about it," I grumble, shoving my lunch back in my bag. Geez, just because Jenifer can't get Chelsea, the girl she wants, doesn't mean she should stop me getting the boy I want.
Yes. I want Tyson Finns.
I want him so bad.
Just as I think this, he enters the lunch hall... with another girl. Jenifer looks at me pointedly.
"See?" she says. I nudge her, hard.
"Hey, just because he's walking along with a girl doesn't mean their dating or anything." I say.
Tyson spots me, a small smirk on his face and wraps his arm around the girl. Jenifer's face is getting more smug by the second.
"Maybe the girl fainted and needs help walking. Maybe she hurt her leg. Maybe she is his cousin or something." I say viciously as I stand up and leave the hall, with Jenifer calling behind me.
Shit it's only chapter ten and Bella's already a bitch
