To the dreamers,
The adventurers,
And the observers.
You may stumble into the deep woods,
And wonder for days,
But you won't wonder alone.
For there are creatures hiding.
Behind trees,
Under bushes,
In the leafs.
Some you may know,
Their claws and teeth familiar,
Some scratch and claw,
Others bite and chew,
And those you learn to avoid.
Others are unsure,
Some sooth,
Love,
And care,
Others bite,
Tear,
And hurt.
In the end you need to go back,
Back to the woods.
For the woods is all you know,
All you have been.
Beware the creatures that lurk.
Some may carry a jaw that bites,
But are misplaced.
The woods are a backwards place.
Where the rabbits wear fox suits,
And the foxes hide in bunnies.
From the outside,
Many are not able to be seen.
Behind lies things only one can see,
You.
Watch when the branches snap,
And when the bushes shake,
And the leaves that fall.
Watch for the foxes and the rabbits.
