Meet Aerie. She's sixteen and a vampire slayer. The best in the world. She's had more kills in 18 months than most slayers get in the their life. She's not there easily though. Her mother has had her home schooled since she was in 8th grade and undergoing the change from slayer-to-be to slayer.
Now the day has come though for that to end. She's been stable for a while and her mother thinks that she needs to return to school and join people her age. Can she accept them? Can they accept her? And can a jumpy slayer getting messages from vampires, noneless, handle normal AND slayer life at the same time?
