Sofia Diaz and the lost trident

The Tsunami

I was lucky to have survived the tsunami,
and luckily my dog Percy knew to get to higher ground and that I knew to follow him, He led me to the top of the highest point in the area. As the waves starting crashing down on Nadi, I watched them sweep away everything in sight, all I could do was hope for some people to survive.
The day after the tsunami my dog and I finally came down from the mini mountain back to our little, demolished town. As we were walked through the rubble looking for survivors, We found a couple people and some of my friends but we still couldn't find any of our family. My search continued for them, but as I searched through the mess the waves made,
I saw an unfamiliar glint of gold, as I walked toward it, it seemed to be calling my name. When I reached the spot where I saw the gold I started to dig, after digging for about 2 minutes I found something that looked like a giant gold fork, but then I realized it was Poseidon's trident! What are wizards real too? With the trident in my hand, I started to head back to my to house, or at least what was left of it. When I got back to our little demolished house, I called my over my best friend, within minutes I heard a knock on my door, it was Maya Martinez, a rather tall girl with long blond hair, a suntan, and did I tell you she's my best friend. I soon told her about my discovery, she didn't believe me at first so I had to pop out the trident to make her believe me. She told me I should try to return it to Poseidon and I agreed I told her "well I'll be on my way" but before I could walk out the door she said "wait Sophia, I can't let you do this, well not without me you can't."
