"Ok ok break it up love it up love birds," Maya said as she tried to break up our hug, but it was no use I was basically paralyzed with shock and joy. Andrew picked me up and put me on his shoulders like we used do all the time before the tsunami, I was thrilled to think nothing could come between us. Not even catastrophic tsunami. "Ruin the moment why don't ya." Andrew said sarcastically to Maya as we, well they, walked to the dock. When we reached the dock there was only one boat left and it was a yacht a five story tall boat with amazing rooms and headquarters! Jk it was a small fishing boat with 3 seats and and a cooler, not exactly what we were looking for but hey, it was something. We got on the boat, untied it from the dock and slowly we backed away into the open ocean. While Maya was manning the wheel (her dad is a fisherman, he taught her to drive a boat very young) I told Andrew everything, how I found the trident, found out I was a demigod, got attacked by Kronos, proved myself to the ocean, and, to my surprise, he didn't even seemed shocked, like he heard all this before. So, I asked him.
" well I'm a demigod too" he casually responded "I'm a kid of Apollo, You know the sun god." this freaked me out, I started "calmly" yelling at him. I "asked " (more like demanded) him to tell me why he never told me any of this. With hands above his head, surrendering, he responded, chill, have told you, well not directly at least. Where do think I go to camp for a month each summer, in New York, on Long Island.
Ooohh I responded with in an awkward tone of realization. Sorry, how did I not see that.
Because you're stupid I heard someone say in a Jamaican accent
MAYA get over here ya little piece of shataki mushroom. She started laughing hysterically.
" You want me to come over there kiwi?"
Don't call me kiwi ya loaf of bread! I hope you step on a lego." She laughed even harder. Even Andrew was holding back a laugh. I know my insults are stupid, but i'm not aloud to cuss real bad words.
When nighttime fell, for once I found it hard to fall asleep, even with the gentle roar of the engine which I usually find quite calming. As I watched the Maya and Andrew drift off I stayed awake watching hours pass by on my watch going from 9:00 to 10:00 to 11:00 my eyes finally started to feel a little droopy, so I layed down on the last cushion closed my eyes and drifted into a deep sleep.
Just as I fell asleep I was awakened by a hard thud against the hull of the boat. Maya was already awake driving the boat back onto course since we had been drifting and Andrew awoke quickly, only to grab a celestial bronze sword out of his backpack. I groggily got up and asked what was happening, Andrew quickly responded "while we were sleeping we trespassed into their Territory."
"Whose territory?" I said sleepily.
"Theirs." He said like it was obvious. I turned my head and saw a whole army of dolphin pirates great I was going to fight an army of dolphins with bed head. As quickly as I could I got up and asked if he had any more swords, he dug into his bag and pulled out one more sword and tossed it to me, since I dodged the flying sword I reached down, picked it up, and ran toward Andrew to help him fight the dolphins. I learned very quickly I suck at sword fighting. Like i could barely hold a sword, much less use a sword. While I was slashing the sword at air missing dolphins by 10 inches, but in the hassle I didn't notice that andrew needed help! He was on his knees being hogtied by the army of I don't know what!! A sudden wave of anger washed over me, and i charged at the thingymabobs attacking my boyfriend. Suddenly I knew how to fight, don't ask me how, i don't know. Maybe it was the sense of protection for my boyfriend? idk , life is weird but when one of the pirates disarmed me I felt powerless one again, but guess what I remembered I can control water, haha dolphin pirates you can't disarm water. Apparently dolphins can handle a wave. Probably should've thought of that.
But can they handle a trident, muhaha...
