Sofia Diaz and the lost trident

Minutes later I  dived underwater with the trident and popped up to pull Percy in with me and soon enough Maya jumped in after me, doing a cannonball that made a splash so big my entire body was soaking wet ( regardless of me being in water ) so I summoned a wave just to teach her a lesson. I dunked my head underwater and stuck my hand up gesturing for Maya to go under to, Maya quickly went under with me. I did a quick motion with my hands like making a ball and with a swift flick of the wrist, I shot the bubble towards Maya's head, and it worked! Maya excitedly started talking underwater saying random words in random tones like ApPle cIDer. One Maya got a hold of herself she semi-calmly asked how did you know what to do I shrugged my shoulders it just felt right. While Maya was swimming I popped up and grabbed Percy pulling him under with me and made a bubble for him as quick has possible. He was so happy to be under water for once he'd only ever been above. We started to swim but the minutes we were under turned in hours and I could faintly hear Maya singing keep on swimming keep on swimming, and I couldn't help myself, I burst out laughing and Maya started blushing with embarrassment she didn't think anyone had heard her singing. But when I turned my head... there it was Poseidon's palace with the lights still. We weren't too late. We all started excitedly swimming toward the castle, but before we could swim up the palace steps I saw something out of the corner of my eye a... injured baby sea turtle I just had to help it, but we were so close to completing our
mission for all we know Poseidon could be on his last string of life. Maya could tell what I was thinking she knows how much I love sea life but she also knew how important to me but she went to my side and told very quietly "go." I stepped away from the gates and swam with great urgency towards the baby turtle. When I reached the orphaned baby I reached out my hand and made a gentle wave to bring the turtle toward me. When the turtle reached my hand I carefully grabbed her and I felt her shaking in fear. In a soothing voice I calmly said "it's okay I'm not here to hurt you" and slowly examined the turtle to see what was wrong. At first I couldn't see anything but when I looked underneath his flipper I saw piece of coral stuck in her fin. An easy fix, not a big deal. Relieved I gently yet quickly pulled the piece out of her flipper and let her free to find her mom  but instead of swimming of she followed me. "Seems like a made a new friend" I said to myself. When I turned around to head back to Maya the castle vanished into bubbles. The first thought that crossed my mind was Oh No are we to late but when I got a closer look, I saw the bubbles forming something, the most beautiful girl I had ever seen, an ocean spirit, a nereid. She began to tell us that the castle was an allusion and to continue our quest we had to prove ourselves friends of the ocean by abandoning our mission to save a poor helpless animal, she continued to tell us how that Poseidon was still long ways away, in the oceans of Long Island and when we get there have to seek help from fellow demigods at Camp Half Blood and in moments she was gone. Maya and I started screaming our favorite book series is REAL, but as soon as we got excited it hit us both Long Island is in America we are in Fiji, and we have no money.
