If I was I child of Poseidon could I breathe underwater right? this question continued to run through mind for an hour while we were lost at sea with the small piece of drift we snagged from the cove before racing out to sea, the only thing keeping all of us sinking from the exhaustion in our muscles. so I decided to test my theory. I dunked my head under the waves and opened my mouth sure enough I could breathe underwater. I surfaced again to tell Maya what I could do and she was ecstatic for she to had read the PJO series. She started rampaging about all things I could " most likely " do, like talk to dolphins or control the ocean and talk to sea creatures or make friends with nereids AND make air bubbles for Her and Percy so they can breath under water, then it hit me. Poseidon is the sea god his castle is underwater! How could I be so stupid! No wonder we couldn't find him he lives UNDER FRICKEN WATER. I started hitting my head whispering to myself " stupid, stupid, stupid! " Maya heard me silently punishing myself and asked what I was thinking about, I replied "POSEIDON FRICKEN LIVES UNDERWATER"
Maya responded by saying " duh but what does that have to do with OOOHH! How are we going to go under there we can't breath under OOOHHH!" I gave her my famous sarcastic nod. "I can create air bubbles for you and Percy" I told her " so what do say" she responded by giving me a serious nod of the head, but not too serious this is Maya we're talking about.
