I feel lonely around people. As usual before class started, boys were jumping around and girls were gossiping among themselves in groups and then there I was, doodling in my notebook.
I took doodling as way of satisfying my boredom since literally no one even looked at me. I have interests in drawing more than anything and enjoy art classes the most, even if no one talked to me.
The only friends I had, met me during lunch break. That is the only time I feel like some people care about my existence. Even though I didn't talk that much, they appreciated my company.
Tears form in my eyes as I keep on thinking, one drop falling on my notebook and making the doodle messy
'great' I thought to myself
"Good morning students, I'd like to introduce you to a new student" The teacher interrupted the class and also my thoughts
"This is Seulgi, she's here all the way from Korea" the teacher gestured towards the pretty girl that walked in. I couldn't help but stare,because she was just beautiful. She was Korean as well so I guess I could get along with her. We could bitch about others and no one would get what we say. I kept thinking until my thoughts were intruded by her sweet voice.
"Hey, could you...shift" She motioned me move a little bit. Her accent wasn't perfect so I'm sure she speaks korean. But her voice sounded really sweet
"Do you...speak Korean?" I ask
"ye" She replied in Korean
"nado geulae*!" I reply with excitement. Even though I grew up in America I was not only fluent in English but Korean as well.

"oh my gosh really?" Her beautiful eyes lit up. I guess this is the first time I'm making someone excited.
Just then, her eyes fell on my notebook where I was doodling.
"oh my god, that looks beautiful. Did you drop water on it by mistake? It looks pretty cool with that to be honest" She said, taking the notebook from me and examining my artwork.
"Thanks" I blushed, I don't know why.
"I like drawing as well but I'm not that good." She said. Since I've never started a conversation with anyone, I didn't know how to respond so I just said 'oh'.
I'm happy I finally have a friend during class.
