It's been eleven years, eleven years after the first love of my life left me alone not because she wanted to but because she had no choice.
You see, many things can happen in eleven years. I can't just groan about 1 person who left me years ago. Nobody knows about her except Irene Unni as I wanted to keep it to myself.
So I've moved on with life as my grandmom wanted.
I now have a job in New York, an apartment of my own and a good boyfriend who cares about me more than himself.
Seulgi deleted her Gmail for some reason and I lost all contact with her. I sent some handwritten letters which were never written back.
I wonder what happened to her till today
And till today I have preserved the Polaroids we took together.
I take one out of the album that was given to me by her before she left, it was the last picture we took together at the park before I confessed.
I smile remembering the good old days.
My phone started vibrating in my pocket, signaling a phone call.
"Hey Eric." I smile even though he can't see
"hey babe, just wanted to ask if you were still down for tomorrow night" He asked
"yeah, of course" I say casually
"also...could my sister tag along? She really wants to meet up with you" He said, shocking the shit out of me. He never told me he had a sister.
"you NEVER told me you had a sibling. I don't mind if she comes though" I reply trying to act normal.
"She's actually not my real sister" Eric said with a certain tone
"Why haven't we talked about this before? Eric, I need an explanation" I try my best to sound angry but how could I be angry with my sweetheart.
"Anyways, see you tomorrow evening" I say so that we don't have to continue the conversation.

I reached time square, where I was supposed to meet Eric and his sister.
To be honest I was fairly excited to be meeting her. I rub my hands together to gain some warmth as the night was cold.
I start walking around a bit since they were getting late.
I look up once once and take a look around to see Eric in the distance. I raise my arm in order to catch his attention.
I had a smile stretched across my face until I saw his sister emerge from in between the crowd. It felt like my heart would stop beating at any moment.
"Hey! Wendy! Sorry if we're a bit late." Eric says, smiling, but I was too shocked to comprehend anything. She looked just as shocked as me, his sister.
"I want you to meet my sister, Seulgi."
