"uh...um"

Wendy was hesitant while Eric awkwardly stood on his knee waiting for an answer

"I-I don't think its the right time to ask this"

Wendy said

It really wasn't. There had been too much going on in Wendys life

Her grandmother passed away and Seulgi finally found out about Wendy being her past girlfriend.

She couldn't just start thinking about Marriage

"Wh-Why?"

Eric asked with worry in his tone

Wendy decided to be completely honest

"Look, My grandmother recently passed away. I can't even hold a funeral because literally no one in the family cared for her as much as I did. I am her only family and-and Seulgi found ou-"

Eric became angry at the name

"This is because of Seulgi isn't it?"

Wendy wasn't sure of what to say

"God dang it. She's ruined it for me"

He said, throwing the box in a random direction

Wendy started getting worried. Sure, they had arguments every now and then but she had never seen Eric this angry.

"why don't you just...go fuckin...marry HER or something."

He started breaking down

"whats so good about her that isn't in me. You can't even have children with her"

He said, burying his face in his palms

"Eric...this isnt her fault. You just asked at the wrong time. I'm not ready for this"

Wendy explained hoping Eric would understand

"Yeah but I am."

He yelled

"we both need to be ready for this"

"Wendy what is wrong with you?"

He asked a question which confused her

There was nothing wrong with her. The wrong was in Eric

Wendy couldn't take it anymore. She broke down too, running past Eric and quickly going down the hellevator.

The moment she stepped outside, she saw Seulgi and Irene in the park munching on popcorn with sad expressions

She ran to them

"Seulgi...I want you to runaway with me"

"wha-?"

"yes...you heard it right"

It was an impulsive decision but it felt right. All Wendy wanted to do was runaway from all the problems with the person she really loved.

Seulgi pursed her lips and nodded

"pack up however messily you want to and meet me down here"

The moment Wendy finished, Seulgi got up and ran to the lift back to the apartment, only finding it to be a complete and utter mess, Eric being in the middle of it crouched on the ground with his face covered with his hands in frustration.

So he didn't notice her

She didn't say anything either and just took out a suitcase and started shoving all her clothes in the most unorganised manner. She wasn't thinking straight (cuz she gay)

She couldn't just leave like that but she honesty hated everybody at that moment

Meanwhile, Irene and Wendy were having a chat.

"Please get me resigned"

Wendy requested

"Anything for you, friend. Man, if you're really running away... I'm gonna miss your ass... literally."
