What Happened to Fearless

Are you crazy?!

Sorry it's been a while. Life has been crazy. Please tell me what you think. Comment what you think should or shouldn't happen. Please read and answer the question at the end of the chapter. Enjoy. ( sorry it's short next will be longer.)

Leo put Quinn down and kneeled to her height. "Can you focus on more than two things at once?" Quinn thought about it.

"I can't hold both for a long time. I haven't had that much practice with it. But I can turn one off then focus on the other for a little longer." Leo nodded then looked back at Quinn.

"Do you think you can check to where they put the rest of our stuff?" Leo's brothers may not have noticed but the phones that Donnie made them, and some of their other gadgets, were missing. So was Leo's secret weapon he kept with him at all times in case he saw the people that caused all of his nightmares again. The little girl nodded and closed her eyes, trying to focus.

She passes through many minds that are within her reach till she gets to the one she's happy to see but means something terrible. Kari. Kari's mind, Quinn knew, had all the information she needed in it but if Kari was close enough for Quinn to read her mind, then that could mean Kari's heading their way. Going through her mind, Quinn found what she was looking for and two other things that were important. She gasps.

As this was going on, Leo's brothers were questioning him. Oh and how excited he was. (yeah, right)

"Uh Leo," Mikey said staring at the child, "I think she's broken."

Leo chuckled softly, shaking his head at his youngest brother with a small smile upon his face. "Quinn's not broken Mikey. She's figuring out where our stuff is."

Donnie looked at his other two brothers before looking at Leo. "All she's doing is standing there with her eyes closed. How does that help fin..." A gasp was heard and they all turned to the little girl. They saw how scared she was.

Leo ran and kneeled to her height with his brothers standing behind him. There were unshed tears building up that broke Leo's heart. It made the others feel sympathy for Quinn, even if they were confused as to what made her feel this way. Leo asked her what happened and she took a deep breath before she spoke.

"I found all your stuff but I got the information from Kari. She's planning on coming in here soon. She wants to..." A few tears broke through and trailed down her cheeks. Leo quickly wiped them away while she took another deep breath to continue. "She wants to show Kendall my dead body. That's why she put us here. She wanted you to kill me so then mom wouldn't have anyone holding her back."

To say the guys were shocked was an understatement. That was harsh even for the foot clan. It's as if the Shredder was back in charge. Leo was getting to Raph level anger. Next time he saw Kari, he would make her pay for what she tried to do to Quinn, his daughter. He gently grabbed her and pulled her into a hug. He could feel the silent tears falling onto his shoulders. Something seemed to click in his brain as he thought of what Quinn said. He slowly pulled back and looked at her with his hands on her shoulders. "If she wants to show Kendall that means she's back here right?"

Quinn nodded her head. "Ya. She's back. Mommy's looking for me, but I can't communicate with her. She's to far."

Leo pointed to his head. "Tell me where our stuff is." Quinn knew what he meant; tell through her powers. Once Leo got the place he stood and turned toward his brothers.

Raph was confused but tried not to show it, Donnie kept his face in a determined stare while putting all the events together to figure out everything he doesn't know, and Mikey looked confused and saddened by what the 7 year old said. Each was feeling and thinking something different, but they knew Leo was about to give them a plan of escaping and that was something they all agreed felt good. It's like whatever happened to their fearless leader is finally disappearing and their brother is coming back.

"You guys remember how to get out of this building when we broke in?" Leo asked his brothers. They nodded. Leo grabbed Quinn's hand and had her stand in front of Mikey, who was in between Raph and Donnie. "Good you have your weapons. Take Quinn and get out. I'll hover all our other stuff and meet you later."

"Leo are you crazy!?" Donnie asked his brother. "You can't do it alone"

Mikey nodded his head. "Yeah and you can't leave us. We don't have our smoke bombs and if something happens and we get caught, we have no way out."

Leo looked at his brothers. "It'll be easier to get to the most guarded room if I go alone. Plus," he looked to his daughter, "Quinn can tell you when guards are coming your way, from where, and how many. You won't get caught." Quinn nodded with a small smile.

"But", Donnie countered, "what if you get caught?"

Leo took both his katanas and sliced the air with the one in his right hand. "Then I'll show them some things I learned from fighting all those guys from the jungle."

They all got in their places, ready for the doors to open. Raphael looks to his older brother. "He's going to get himself killed." He whispered to his two younger brothers and the nodded.

But what Leo didn't know was that because of what he was about to do, Kari will have more over control over Kendall than anybody wants.

Accidents happen. Who knows, blood may be spilt. But one question remains. When this is over, will their fearless leader finally return?
