The Escape Part 2: Pain. Blood. Broken Hearts.

HELLO EVERYONE. SORRY IT'S BEEN A WHILE. THINGS HAVE BEEN DIFFICULT AROUND HERE BUT NOW I'M TRYING TO GET A LOT BETTER AT UPDATING. A LOT OF PEOPLE GOT SOME OF THE QUESTIONS FROM LAST CHAPTER BUT I'M GOING TO MENTION THE ONES WHO GOT IT RIGHT FIRST. EVEN THOUGH SOME MIGHT NOT BE MENTIONED, I WANT TO CONGRATULATE EVERYONE WHO DID GET THEM RIGHT. THE QUESTION WINNERS AND NEW QUESTIONS WILL BE AT END OF CHAPTER. THANKS FOR READING. "I need a way of carrying everything." Leo said to himself. He looked around the room and saw an army green shoulder bag and grabbed it. Unzipping it, he stuffed everything inside it. Now he needed to find Kendall and then they could leave. He would have both of them back into his life. they would finally meet his family like he promised they would. They would be apart of the family officially.

Leo put the bag on his shoulder and as he was about to leave, an alarm sounded. 'Oh shit!'

Previously: With Quinn, Mikey, Raph, and Donnie.

Raph was cut off as they all heard a sound so loud they all jumped. They stood there for awhile till three more loud shots were heard. The Turtles were confused and Quinn was curled up into a ball on the ground and her hands covering her ears. She was scared for the same reason the guys were confused. The Foot Clan and Kari have never been known for using any other weapons than standard ninja weapons and The Turtles knew this. The only other person in there was the only option left. The Three brothers knew better though. Leo had never used a gun, he was to honorable to use it to kill people with so they don't believe it was him.

They had no idea what to do. All four of them had the same question running through their heads. 'Who was shooting the gun?!'

::::Right after Alarm::::Leo::::

'Oh shit!' Leo knew that his thoughts were true. He was in some serious shit right now. He made it farther then he believed he would, but now it was going to be a lot harder to find Kendall. He quickly went to the door, but, unfortunately, before he was able to open it he heard what sounded like a bunch of people running. Foot Ninjas no doubt. Getting closer. He had to wait till the Foot ran by and he couldn't hear them anymore. After the only sound he could hear was the alarms, he finally opened the door. As silently as he could, he crept along the side of the wall to where he knew the exit would be. Maybe he can find Kendall on the way.

As he was walking, three Foot Ninja came out in front of him. Without hesitation, Leo grabbed his katanas and fought. It didn't take long for Leo to overpower an knock out two, but the third decided to play dirty. As Leo brought his katana down, a metal-on-metal sound rung through the air as the last Foot Ninja to stop it. Leo wasn't giving up though, he kept pushing down on the sword putting all his weight on it making his enemy land on one knee. This Foot Ninja want giving up epithet as he continued to push back as this was his plan. Without the oldest turtle knowing, the Foot Soldier grabbed a hidden knife from his sleeve with his free hand.

Suddenly, Leo felt a sharp pain in his leg and made an almost indistinguishable grunt in pain. As he saw his green enemy was distracted by the pain, the Foot Ninja hit Leo on the side of the head with his sword causing the turtle to fall to the ground. The Ninja didn't wait as he stood and ran. His order were to wound and come back. Kari wanted to watch them suffer.

Leo laid on the ground in pain for a second before he look at his leg. The cut the Ninja gave him was long and bleeding a lot, but this isn't what hurt the most. In the middle of that cut, a few inches deeper, lies a bullet that was never taken out. It healed by the time Leo woke up to see where he was shot and he never took it out for he believed he deserved the pain that bullet caused.  The bullet was received on the day he was taken away from Quinn and Kendall. Every now and then the bullet would send pain throughout his body to remind him of his failure. But now thanks to the long cut, it was hurting just as much as the second he received it.
