Chapter One: The Beginning of an End
In the future, a spell is cast,
Ripping the party out of the past.
Travelers of space and time,
Themselves the humans find.
They become glitched and tattered
As, by gusts of wind, the windows are shattered.
Glass is caught in a whirlwind,
Fighting against flesh no one can defend.
One by one, Helian frees,
In order, Bellis, Daisy, Rose, and Lily.
The couple embrace, unwilling to let go.
Daisy catches her breath whilst Rose ties back her bow.
Lily, pale and freckled,
Wipes away the blood with a personal chuckle.
The house is dark and void,
The interior nearly destroyed.
With no help nearby,
And sand of sleep in all eyes,
They decide to go to bed,
Unaware of the journey ahead.
