Chapter Four: The Awakening
In a distant town,
Rings a harmonious sound.
Chiming are the bells of a clock tower,
Marking the tenth hour.
Roused from sleep,
In the cavern deep,
The humans sit up from the solid ground.
They collect themselves around
The remnants of the once luminous fire.
For breakfast, they eat as many apples as their stomach desires.
They chat and finally decide
That since the sun dominating the sky,
It is safe to traverse the land.
Bellis and Helian rise, hand in hand,
Ready to leave the dismal cave.
Turning, the humans and take their leave.
