Chapter Two: Welcome to Suun
So, the humans leave their home
And into the field they roam.
The sky is bright, and the wheat is golden;
A great, singular pillar Bellis beholds
Which Helian identifies as a Linden tree.
Linger they do not, for they must leave.
Traversing the land of Suun,
They explore the world ruled by Sun and Moon.
At last, they approach the forest filled with fauna living freely;
Flowers and plants grow that in their world they had not seen.
Rose suggests they pick food,
So, they search for edible fruit.
Lily collects fire wood for later.
The weight would make the journey harder,
But she knew they needed the heat;
The elements would not have the humans beat.
The mountains rise, blocking their way;
Sleepy Sun begins to set, ending day.
Luckily, they need not fear,
For in they see the cave is near.
A premade path leads up the rock,
So, up the mountain they walk.
They hide as light fades;
In the distance, they hear the Moon's rage.
Safe they are, now at the cave;
A foreign world did not become their grave.
The fire is lit
Which around they sit.
Adrenaline steals needed sleep,
So, Daisy speaks, "why don't we share a story?"
Replies Lily, "I have a story from this land you will find extraordinary."

PoetryPoetry stung together into a story of fantasy and destruction. I originally wrote this version of the story, now called Shadow of the Heart (on Webtoon), a few years ago when I was in high school. This is a different iteration I wrote a year later...
