Chapter Two: Welcome to Suun

After the dust of humanity settled,

And nature healed a little,

Chaos reigned over the Earth.

For order, the humans searched,

But nothing grew.

No matter how much they knew,

Nature beat them back into nothing;

Humans had no chance of rising.

It took time before they learned,

That they will not reach what they yearned.

Years passed, and nature overtook them,

Until, from the heavens, descended the Moon and Sun.

Celestial beings going by these names

Have powers that, here, shall be framed.

The Sun, burning bright,

Sees the future, all futures.

The Moon, reflecting the Sun's light,

Sees the pasts, all pasts.

Both Celestials harbor only one eye,

Seeing all who have and will die.

Humans, the Flora, greeted their presence,

Celebrating the present.

Between Celestials, the world was split;

Upon a throne they each sit.

The northern world, by the Moon

Is kindly ruled.

The south is run

By the plotting Sun.

Soon governments emerged

And into civilization, Flora were submerged.
