"Kid! Kid wake up!" Happy yelled in my face.
I jumped, waving my fists in the air, but Happy grabbed them.
"God Kid calm down." He yelled
My eyes went wide "sorry...are we-"
"Yeah. Get out and go get her back." Happy said almost smiling
I got up out of the comfortable chair and smiled as I walked to the front of the plane.
"Good luck!" Happy said
I turned to looked at him and smiled as I walked out of the plane.
"What the-" I said in shock to see this great big Avengers facility right in front of my eyes.
There were tons of people walking and talking and training everywhere.
A guy in a black suit with a teal Avenger emblem attached to his shirt walked up to me.
"Are you Peter?" He asked
I nodded "Peter, yeah Peter Parker. Mr. Stark said I could-"
He waved his hand looking at his chart in his other hand "yeah I know come on, follow me."
The man started to walked and I followed behind, rubbing my sweaty hands together as we walked into the building. I looked around the modern building seeing people staring at me. It was super awkward so I just looked down at my feet until we got to where he was taking me.
"We're here." He said as he opened the door and let me in.
"Where are we exactly?" I asked as I turned around to the man but he was gone. "Uh okay..." I said nervously as I walked into the room even more.
The room was dark and I could hear my footsteps clicking on the cold, hard, black tile.
"Uh hello? Wait Peter what are you doing that's how every horror film starts!" I said aloud sounding like an idiot.
I heard footsteps coming from the other side of the room. My spider sense wasn't even tingling like it usually does when there's danger approaching.
Hello? Spidey sense? You there!?
"Peter..." I heard a voice echo from the other side of the room.
I tended up. "Y-yes? (Y/n)? Is that you?"
"Peter..." I heard it again but this time it sounded like the voice was breathing heavy.
I was scared, I wanted to leave the room when all the lights came on. I put my hands in front of my face to hide them from the blinding light.
I put my hands down and squinted my eyes to see a black figure coming towards me. My eyes finally adjusted when I saw her standing in front of me.
"(Y/n)!" I yelled smiling.
Her face looked furious as she kicked my feet causing me to fall on my back then she grabbed my hands.
"What are you doing here?" She yelled as I moaned in pained.
"I came...to see...you...ow." I said scrunching up my face.
"Why?" She said, but before I could answer she twisted my arm tighter. "Why Peter!?"
"Because...I love you." I moaned again. How was she so strong!?
She let me go. "What!?"
I propped myself up with my elbow "I said I love you."
"What about Gwen? Huh?" She said about to walk away.
"Gwen was just a girl I thought was attractive. (Y/n) you left I thought you were gone for good. I needed to move on or I would've been hurt a lot more then I am right now...ow." I said massaging my shoulder.
"Oh."
I shook my head "oh? What do you mean oh?"
"Oh as in oh...I didn't know that was the problem." She sat on the floor "I thought that getting tortured or being beat up or getting stabbed was the worst pain I would ever feel, but that was until I met you. When I met you, I didn't know it at the time, but I loved you and when you asked her to a 'dance' it hurt me more than anything ever had."
"I'm sorry...I didn't want to hurt you." I said looking down.
"I know and that made it worse." She had tear in her eye "I've been crying a lot lately and I'm gonna be honest it sucks." She let out a little laugh.
I wiped her tear away and slowly went in for a kiss.
She smiled "so that's what that feels like."
"Yeah." I said in awe of how beautiful she was.
She was broken, a mess, scared for her life, and yet she was beautiful. She was a killer, a spy, a liar yet she was still the best person I had ever met.
"Are you going to stay here with me?" She asked
"I wish I could but I have to go back home."
We both stood up and she nodded her head.
"I understand. Go on Spider-man your city needs a hero." She smiled and hugged me.
"Will I ever see you again?"
"Of course you will. Even though I'm here and your there we will make a way."
"Why don't you come back with me?" I grabbed her hands
She shook her head and looked down "I need to stay here. I need help a lot of it if I'm ever going to be with you."
"When will that happen...you being with me."
"It will happen, but in the mean time I need you to go and be the hero you need to be."
I kissed her again. "I love you (y/n)"
"I love you too peter...you're my hero. You saved me from HYDRA something no one on this earth could have ever done. Thank you."
"I'm going to miss you." I said with a single tear.
"I'll be with you before you know it."
I smiled and we said our goodbyes. When I got back on that plane I was content. Content with my life and content with (y/n). Even though right now we aren't together I know one day we will be and that will be the happiest day of my life. I love (y/n) for who she was and who she is and she is the girl I will be with for the rest of my life. However long that takes I'm willing to wait...for her.
I wasn't human until I found her.
