"So uh what do you want to do?" Peter asked as he sat up a little on the couch.
"Don't ask me." I shook my head "I mean I didn't even know what Star Wars was."
He laughed "true."
He looked around the room seeming very uncomfortable.
"Peter are you okay?" I asked
--
No I was not okay! Every time I'm around (y/n) my Spidey-senses go nuts, but I can't tell her that I can't hang out with her because I'm Spiderman. I like hanging out with her even if sometimes she's completely clueless about the outside world.
"Yeah-yeah I'm fine. Hey I have an idea let's play truth or dare."
"Okay you first." She nodded her head.
I kinda figured she didn't know what it was just by the look on her face. It's like she literally lived under a rock. I have to figure out who she really is.
"Okay so pick one. Truth or dare?" I said to her
She furrowed her eyebrows "um truth?"
"Okay, but You have to be totally honest."
"Totally honest why?"
"Because that's how this game works if you aren't honest the man who created this game while come to your house at night and kill you." I joked
"Don't worry I could take him." She said sitting back on the couch.
"In your sleep?" I asked. She was being serious
"Well yeah I'm an assa-uh assistant. That knows self defense." She said confidently
Wait was she going to say ASSASSIN!?
"A assistant? Really? Somehow you don't seem so sure." I said
--
Shoot! He's on to me. I need to leave.
"Oh wow it's 12:00am I need to get home. I have to go!" I ran out fast enough for Peter to be confused.
I slammed the door and sighed. I started walking back to my house when I saw a black, shadowy figure in a dark alley. I stopped walking and turned to the figure.
"Who's there?" I said standing in my fighting position.
Slowly he walked into the light coming from a light post.
"Spider-man..." I said relaxing my body because I didn't want Peter to get any ideas.
"What's a pretty young lady like yourself doing on the streets of New York at night. It's pretty dangerous. People are always lurking the streets."
"Like you?"
"What pfft no!" His voice cracked "I mean criminals yeah criminals."
I started to walk away "I can handle myself. Thank you."
"At least let me walk you home."
I turned around and smiled, agitated at his persistence "okay."
"Great."
He grabbed my waist.
"What are you doing!?" I yelled
"Oh come on can't you have a little fun?"
I scoffed "I can have fun!"
"Then you won't mind if we have fun do you?"
"No-ahh!!" I screamed as he lifted me into the dark sky.
I grabbed onto his neck.
"If you drop me-"
"Don't worry I won't."
Even though he had a mask on I knew he was smiling.
After ten minutes off gliding through the city he finally let me down, but not just anywhere we were on on of the highest building.
"Woah i-it's beautiful up here."
"Very."
At that moment I felt different, like I was in control. I felt free.
I walked up to him and hugged him.
"W-what was that for?" He asked
I shook my head. I can't believe I would think like that. I have to remember my mission.
I stopped smiling "I need to get home."
"Oh r-right. Sorry." He grabbed my waist and whipped me back to my apartment building.
He let me go and set me on the ground.
"Before you go-" he started but I interrupted him.
"Thanks. Bye." I bluntly said and walked into the building.
I felt a tear fall down my cheek. I never cry what is happening to me!?
I walked to my room and sat on the floor. What is wrong with me? Why am I crying!? Assassins don't cry!
This is all Peter's fault...he did this.
He's dead.
