Alec stared at the girl sleeping under the massive tree. There were silver lights surrounding her from all sides. She looked peaceful, and she was pretty. Her face and dress weren't dirtied at all, despite being out in the forest. It was like a barrier was around her. Protecting her from all the foul demons. Simply put, she looked like an angel.

He looked around. There were no signs of others being nearby, and she didn't have a bag either. She's all alone in these woods? She didn't look older then 14! Alec sighed, mumbling to himself. He kneeled down in front of the sleeping girl. He couldn't leave her alone. Find a village or something that'll take her in.

Alec stared at the girl in front of him. Her hair was pure white, but sparkling, like silver. Her dress was also pure white, basically she was a doll. And she was small too, maybe she was 10? He couldn't describe her. She looked like an unknown species, an alien.

Until that alien woke up, of course.

She slowly opened her eyes, which are revealed to be blue, the color of the ocean, the sky. Honestly, Alec expected another shade of white. She didn't speak, didn't move. All she did was stare back at Alec.

But as if she was connected to the tree, the silver lights suddenly vanished. Alec was hesitant to come towards the strange girl.

"Umm, hello," Alec started, backing away a little. "I'm just a traveler, not doing anything suspicious or anything," But the girl still didn't reply.

"I'm just wondering," Alec continued, calmer now as he sees she isn't much of a threat. "What are you doing out here? All alone," The girl stared down towards the ground.

"Fine," Alec said, slightly annoyed. "Can you not speak or something? What's your name?"

"My name...?" She slowly replied, in a small, cute voice.

"So she can talk," Alec thought to himself. "Yea, what's your name?" He asked.

"I...can't remember," the girl said quietly. "Who...am I.....?"

"Wait, you can't remember?" Alec said, surprised. He scratched his head. "Jeez, this just got a whole lot tougher. Maybe you have amnesia or something," Standing up, he took her hand and pulled her to her feet. "Your coming with me for now, I can't leave you here all alone. There might be bears..or lions..or something,"

She willingly stood up and followed him, a stranger. Strange though, she was definitely abnormal. The whole time while walking, she kept staring at Alec. "Okay then," Alec said slowly. "Don't you know anything? A family, home, something?"

She thought for a while, then shook her head. "No," Grumbling, Alec lead her around the forest more.

It was no use though. This whole forest was like a maze. Eventually, they had to find an area to make a fire for the night. As Alec took out his burner to light the fire, he saw the girl, who was sitting under another tree, move closer towards Alec, staring at the burner in his hands.

"What's that?" She asked as he attempted the fire. "It's...red," she tried to touch the little flame, but Alec slapped her hand away.

"Don't, that's dangerous," he told her. "It's a fire, don't you know what that is?" At the very least....

"No," She replied, looking at him innocently. Who's been teaching this girl?!

She did fall asleep. On his bed too, the sheets he brought along. Alec tried to make himself comfortable under a tree nearby. He must find a village soon, someone who knows this girls name. And maybe, just maybe, the One Who Sends Miracles.

He fell asleep at one point. He dreamt of Angelica. He always did fall asleep in weird places in the past. This time at school. He woke up to find her leaning over him, obviously angry. "Geez, how many times do I need to wake you up? You always do sleep in the strangest places, last time in a park. Those kid's faces," She said, giggling. "I can never forget," Smiling at him, Angelica added, "But that's not the point, is it? I feel like it's my job to watch over you,"

And he'd watch over her. All these years they've went out with each other. Their families approve of them, and they could be married someday. He still loves her. How he wishes she could be here right now...

But the slight tugging on his shirt gave him hope. "Angelica...?" Alec said, slowly awaking from his dream.

"Who's Angelica?" The girl asked, staring at him. "Wake up,"

Alec swept away the leaves that piled over him last night. He riffled his hair, yawning. "What do you want?"

"Nothing. Just thought you'd want to wake up is all," She replied.

"Well, that's true," Alec told her. "We need to find a village somewhere so I can drop you off..."

"Drop me off?" The girl said, surprised. "I want to stay with you,"

Alec ruffled the girl's hair. "No, I'm a stranger to you, after all. You'd probably recall more memories by a village or somewhere people might know you,"

She was obviously disappointed. "I...don't want to..."

Alec ignored her and stood up. "I'd be going to a village either way, to ask people around there about personal things,"

Still sitting on the floor of the jungle, she hesitantly pointed a finger towards her right side. "This way," She said.

"Why this way?" Alec asked, surprised. "You wanna go there? Remember something?"

"No," She told him. "No memories, but we should head over there. I just," She paused for a second before speaking again. "Feel it,"

Alec did, just as she said. They had no kind of lead anyways, so why not? But this girl, what is she thinking?
