A roar of thunder and the sound of pounding rain brought me out of my deep slumber. This is the time. I could escape and Calum wouldn't know till the morning.

I slowly slipped out of bed, checking Calum assuring he was in a deep sleep. I quietly opened the bedroom door and walking out towards the stairs.

I quickly walked down the stairs to the front door. I unlock it hoping Calum doesn't have an alarm set or something. I took a deep breathe pulling the door open. I let out a sigh of relief as I shut the door behind me.

I ran as fast as I could, not know where I was going but I didn't really care. I needed to leave that place. My feet padded across the hard pavement as I ran in the heavy rain.

I the wind was cold against my bare thighs. I was only in Calum's large shirt. I didn't know where I was going but I didn't dare stop.

Calum Hood

A large boom of thunder woke me up. I sighed turning over to wrap my arm around Alaska's waist but she wasn't there. I quickly sat up my heart racing and my mind wandering where she could be.

What if she left? I begun to panic as I ran out the door and down the hall checking every room before hauling ass down the stairs.

I grabbed the keys to my car and rushed outside. I drove down the streets of my neighborhood searching for Alaska.

"Fuck!" I slammed my hands on the steering wheel. I rest my head on the wheel thinking of all the possible places she could be.

He had one thing for me to do an d I fucked it up. Maybe I have to tell her. Alaska won't stay otherwise.

My head popped up as I remembered the night I found her in that alley near the cemetery. That's where she is.

I sped to the cemetery about 10 minutes from where I was at currently. What am I going to tell her? What if she doesn't believe me?

I stopped the car, getting out looking around for her. I squinted my eyes as I saw a petite figure sitting near a grave.

I heard her small voice as she was sobbing in the cold rain. My chest tightened as I saw her there broken and helpless.

"Alaska?" I asked my voice breaking. She turned around with a scared look on her face. She scrambled to get up and wiped the tears and rain off of her face.

"What do you want from me?" She asked hiccupping in the process.

I walked towards her. I looked into her beautiful eyes, her teeth were chattering and her arms were hugging her chest tightly.

"Just come with me to the car and I'll explain everything," I reached to grab her wrist and she backed away from me.

"No! I don't even know you and you keep trying to take me home with you! Who are you?" She shook her head.

"Just come with me please, Alaska. I'll explain everything," I begged her, feeling vulnerable by the way my voice sounded.

"How do I know I can trust you?" She stood there glancing down at fathers grave.

"I wont hurt you." I whispered looking at her hoping we could get in the car and out of this shitty weather.

She finally gave in and followed me to my car. We got in and I stared the car cranking up the heat.

"I knew your father." I blurted out biting my lip as her eyes widened at the mention of him.

"What? How?" She turned to me waiting for my answer.
