"Who are you?" I ask scrunching up my eyebrows while staring at her. I pull my my oversized T-shirt down in discomfort.

"I'm Payton," I look at her in confusion still not know who she was, "Calum sent me?" She continues making it sound more like a question than a statement.

I nod my head, "Oh, well come in. Let me go change. I'll be down in a minute go head and make yourself at home." I say giving her a shy smile.

I go to my room and pull on some light washed jeans and a simple blue v-neck. I grab my phone from my bed, dialing Calum's number.

"Hello," Calum says sweetly on the other line.

"Calum, why is there a girl at my house?" I ask puzzled.

He chuckles, "I sent Payton to talk to you about your situation. She went through the same thing." He says with a small cough.

"You could've at least warned me." I say smiling mid-sentence.

"Sorry, Alaska Evans." I feel my face heat up for no damn reason.

"I better go, I'm keeping my company waiting. Goodbye, Calum Hood." I say while reaching for the door handle.

"Goodbye, Alaska Evans." I shake my head while ending the call and begin making my way downstairs.

I see Payton standing at the book shelf in the living room with a picture of my dad and I's fishing trip three years ago.

I let out a shaky breath, "Please put that down." my voice comes out rushed and louder than I wanted it to.

Payton gasps as the picture frame falls out of her hands and collides with the hard wood floor.
