The next day sonakshi was woken up with a certain cool feeling on her neck. She slowly opened her eyes and saw that dev was quite close to her and was nuzzling her neck. Just as she was about to stop him she felt a pain , and then felt as if someone was sucking something out of her. She screamed in pain. Causing dev to look up
"What happened?"
"I felt a sharp pain in my neck "
"Oh it was me , I needed some blood so I thought of drinking it from you . Don't worry I won't take much . Plus I am protecting you I need some fees."
Saying so he continued drinking some blood. After a while he stopped
"Ghosh your blood is the sweetest one I have ever tasted ....You too are sweet but your blood is sweeter."
Saying so he again brought his head down and licked the two dots which were pierced in her neck . Due to the action of his saliva , the blood stopped flowing. By now sonakshi was hell scared
"Hey don't be scared I won't harm you"
"But..y...You just drunk my blood ...  That to without asking"
"So what I was in severe need of energy ......If I have no energy how will I protect you my doll"
"I have a name "
"Sonakshi I guess right"
"Yes"
"What would you like to eat.? I would go and prepare it as right now you must be feeling weak due to the loss of a few ml of blood"
"I will make it myself"
She was just about to stand when dev dev jumped upon her and tightened his hold around her neck
"I SAID WHAT DO YOU WANT TO EAT? I WILL PREPARE IT. UNDERSTOOD"
"Y..Yes"
"Good now tell me " he said as he released the hold on her neck
"T..toast "
"K and drink?"
"J..Juice"
Dev went out through his vampire speed and started preparing the breakfast . Sonakshi who was still in her room had tears flowing out of her eyes
"Where the hell am I stuck? God I told you to keep me away from supernatural stuff but here you have sent a vampire . Even if you sent him you sent such a short tempered moody vampire. "
"I am not moody my lady. It is you who is. When I ask for an answer I need it . I don't like it when I have to ask again . Got it?"
Sonakshi turned her head and saw dev standing at the door with anyway in his hand . He entered the room and kept the tray on her laps and again asked
"GOT IT?"
"Yes"
"Good . Now eat."
Sonakshi without a word ate her breakfast. The number of toast were double the quantity she could eat her she left the other two toasts
"Lady, I do not like it when someone leaves their breakfast . You shouldn't waste food. Eat the other two as well"
"But I can't eat any more . I eat only 2"
"Lady you have lost blood and you need energy so have the other two as well" he said in a dangerous tone
Sonakshi just took the other two pieces and gobbled them down. She drank her juice and stared at the vampire
"Good girl ....Now have your bath and get ready for work. We shall leave at exact 9"
Sonakshi stood up and went to the cupboard and picked out her clothes. She then took her towel and went for a bath. Dev just sat on the bed and stared at the door which closed
"Sonakshi don't lock the door"
"Why ?"
"So that if you are in danger I do not have to break the door"
Sonakshi rolled her eyes and did as she was told as she did not want to have his hands around her neck again. His nail marks were still there and she did not intend to deepen them.
After half an hour she came out in a pencil black skirt and a white formal shirt. She went to the dressing table and tied her hair in a high pony and applied some lip gloss . She turned around and wore her black heels .
"Ghosh lady you are beautiful."
Sonakshi blushed on this statement
"Shall we go now"
"Yes"
She grabbed her bag and followed him. She was feeling awkward to be leaving with a vampire but as said before she had no choice but to follow him  silently which she did. Her heels clicked as she walked behind him. His speed was much more than hers and she was struggling to keep in pace with him
"Can't you walk slowly"
"I am "
"It doesn't seem so "
"Fine lady. You humans walk ever to slowly "
He decreased his pace and sonakshi was able to match his steps. She looked up and saw that spooky villa. A chill ran down her spine and all her hair stood up. Whats that ?
Did  she just see something inside it? Was it a vampire that she just saw ? No it can't be . One vampire was enough . Then what was that flying object?
Her questions were interrupted by  a voice
"Sonakshi which way do we have to go?"
"Huh left"
"Where were you lost"
"In that villa . Does someone live there ?"
His eyes darkened on the question and he stammered while saying
"No ..No no one lives their why do you ask?"
"I felt as if I saw something fly inside "
"It must be your illusion . Now hurry up else you will be late"
They hurried off and reached her office
"Are you going to stay here?"
"Yes "
"What would I say if someone asks who you are "
" Tell them I am Ur friend and will be joining this office too"
"But"
"He raised his eyebrows
"Fine"
The two of them entered the office and every person had their eyes fixed on them

"Sonakshi who is this"
"Sir he is my friend and is wishing I joi the company . He is really experienced a little to much."
"How old are you"
"270 years"
"Huh"
"He means to say 27" she gives a glare to him
"OK he will be working under u till he doesn't become experienced in this "
"OK sir"
They enter her cabin and dev settled down on the table
"Get off the table"
"Did you say something "
"I said get off the table"
"Lady u am the one who should be ordering you  .... You are just a mere human whereas s I am a vampire. Thousands times stronger than you so....BE QUIET and do YOUR OWN WORK"
Saying so he got of the table and settled down on the couch
" Idiot"
The next thing she knew was that his hands were pressing her throat
"Don't you dare call me anything nasty "
"Plz leave my throat"
"First ell me if you have understood " he asked tightening his grip
"Y..Yes "
He released her throat with a force causing her to collapse on the chair.

Devs pov
No person has ever spoken like this to me. How dare she call me an idiot. Who is she  ...She is just a mere human...A weak scared human . Already she has me pissed off by asking about that villa. That villa is the death place for her. If she gets to know about it .. she may land up in even deeper trouble than she is right now. The other vampires are after her to make her their mate and also for that locket which she is wearing . But I won't let anything to happen to her. She does not know about herself till now but very soon she will. For give her strength to hear the truth .

Sonakshi's pov
Oh god who the hell have you glued me too . That too for a year. He is neither a human nor a friendly vampire. He claims that he won't hurt me but just look at that idiot . He keeps pressing my throat every time I oppose him. Firstly he drank my blood without my permission ,not that if I knew I would have been able to stop him but at least I would be prepared . Oh god save me. Plz. I promise I would guess you a laddo if you save me from this crazy vampire. But I must admit he is cute . His jet black hair is so sexy. I wonder what happened that he died so early . Should I ask? But what if he gets angry? But I am curious . Let's ask him.

"My name is dev "
"OK Mr dev vampire may I ask you a question ".
"What?" He asked rudely
"How come you died at a very young age ?"
"It's none of Ur business "
"But "
"I don't like repeating myself "
She just kept her mouth shut and started working
"I was 21 when I died. I was driving my car when my breaks failed and I fell down a cliff. My mother and father survived but I didn't. The next time when I woke up after my after birth I woke up as a vampire. I may get angry at small things but trust me I won't harm you . It's just that your questions are just to silly"
"Oh"
She busied herself in her work.
"Tell me something about yourself . How come you got the house in front of that villa"
"I am from Delhi but shifted here for my job. I was looking for a house and he only one which I could afford was the one in front of that villa. "
"Do you feel anything weird while you are there"
"Yes when I was in Delhi I felt as if someone has been following and even here I feel the same "

She got to work but dev was busy making her cupboard fly
"If anyone sees this they will doubt you "
"Fine" he keeps the cupboard down and does some work with her

"Ma'am  dev is with sonakshi . How will we fulfil our plan "
"We will we will. Remember we are a group of vampires and  witches and he is just a vampire and sonakshi well she is just a human who doesn't know her truth till now Hahaha"

Very soon their work ended and the two of them left for their house.
"Can't you walk fast . Aah yeah you are a human. But still a normal human walks faster than you. You walk even slower than a tortoise . I give you two options either walk faster or I will pick you up and zoom towards our house "
"Our house??"
"Yes our house . Look lady now that we have to share the house for at least a year ..So it is my house too. Now tell me are you going to walk quicker or...."
"Look Mr vampire I mean Mr dev the vampire I am tired . These Heel's are killing me so I will walk slowly only and for the second option dare you touch me "
"Look I am touching you . What will you do lady. "
He asked poking her side
"Aahhhhhhh"
"Lady stop screaming "
"Stop poking me "
"Fine"
He then picked her up and with his vampire speed they covered the 15 mins way in just 2 mins. As soon as they reached he placed her on the bed .
"What was that "
"My speed now what do you want to eat "
"Nothing"
"Sure "
"Yes "
"Fine then sleep "
Sonakshi went and changed and then laid down on the bed
"I feel like a prisoner in my own home"
She laid down and decided to ignore the  vampire sleeping beside her.
