Days passed and it had been close to a month now. Sonakshi's fondness for dev grew and devs affinity for her increased. He started loving  all her  antics ,be it the new craziest spell or her blood curling scream. Jatin had developed a resistance to her spells and the others had finally stopped assuming her dead every time she fainted. Sonakshi was sleeping on the king size bed alone. The bed was floating in mid air. She finally had got used to it. Dev was sitting on the flying chair just next to the bed reading a book, The vampire and his angel. The way they met ,the way she screamed , the way the protagonist did crazy spells were similar to his and Sonakshi's story.
He thought about his mixed bag of emotions . The way he behaved when she was near. He thought what would happen if she was taken away. He realised that he would kill that person who took her away . He realised that he couldn't imagine a single day ,or even a fraction of a second without her. He thought that it was either now or never .
"Look vampdev you have two options.  Either wait for her for your whole  life or go and propose her in the vamparian style. "
He thought for a while and smiled . He glanced up and saw her still peacefully sleeping. He made the bed to land softly ,making sure not  wake her up. He glanced at the clock and flew out.
Sonakshi had just woken up and felt around the other side. She felt sad when she couldn't feel anyone besides her. She loved waking up and seeing his face in the morning . She just loved it. It had been a week since she had realised her love for dev. But being a girl she wished that dev should propose her and not the opposite. She wanted to know how do vampires propose their girls. She wasn't sure if he loved her or not but her heart fluttered when she thought so. She got up and did a small stretch to get rid of her laziness and then did a little bit of exercise. She looked at the clock and went to the cupboard. She had just opened the cupboard and was deciding what to wear when a note floated in and tapped her on her shoulder . She took hold of the note and read it
   To the most beautiful and charming girl in the world .
Wear the red gown and come into the garden .

She smiled and took out the red gown and went to freshen up.
After an hour ,she headed down for the garden but stopped dead in her tracks. The whole staircase was flooded with rose petals. Candles were lighted all through the path. She made her way down admiring each and every little set up. She had just set foot in the garden when she was showered with red petals.  The musical instruments were playing automatically and in front of her was a floating bouquet . She took the bouquet and looked around. The walls all had her pictures and the floor was covered with flowers. Small bubbles were floating around and a cool breeze blew. Suddenly something flew  in front her scaring​ her  She looked around , the rough music started playing and her pendent started to glow. The soft cool breeze which was blowing suddenly turned violent . Sonakshi stood there in horror as a large vampire stood in front her
"Devvvvvv....".was the only thing she could say before her mouth was shut
"We have been looking for you since five years and finally we have found you. How can we let you go now"

Dev who was in the kitchen preparing the breakfast sensed something wrong. He had just flipped over the pancakes when he heard his name being called. He followed the sound and came to the garden. Upon entering it ,he saw it in a mess. He looked around and saw a pool of blood. He recongnised the smell, it was the blood of his love, his life ,his sonakshi
"Sonakshi....shona....where are you " he cried as he searched the whole garden. He finally came across a body from which the blood was flowing.  The sight in front of him scared him to death. His shona was lying in a pool of blood . Her eyes were closed and heartbeat declining.
He immiediatly scooped her in his arms and scream for jatin. He took her to his room and called for Alex ,his family doctor cum friend

Jatin which was sleeping peacefully and having dreams of various dishes woke up with a jerk on hearing his master's scream. He ran towards his room .
"Dev what happened ....why did you scream ..." He trailed off as his eyes fell on her, blood was oozing out from her head. Dev was trying to stop the blood but even his saliva wasn't strong enough to close the wounds . Alex who had just entered saw Sonakshi and understood why he was called. He took out his first aid kit and made his way towards her. He was checking and bandaging her . Just then a letter entered through window
'she hid a lot but could not escape. The game which started seven years back will now restart. Till now she was safe but now she is not. The game has begun and may the best team win"
Dev read the letter and anger took over him
"Those  bastards have got to know about her"
"What ..."
"Yes..they broke the security spell ....we will have to act quick "
He glanced over at sonakshi who was very pale. She had lost a lot of blood
"Sonakshi I won't let anything happen to you ... Alex tell the others to meet at out secret place. Tell them to be very careful and reach at sharp ten "
"Ok"
"Let the game begin"

It had been two hours and sonakshi had still not gained her conscious. Dev was turning restless with every passing second . He really wanted to hear her voice, be it her  scream only. It was like God had heard him . Sonakshi   started squirming and slowly opened her eyes.  She saw dev and got up and hugged him. She sobbed for a long time ,her sobs soaking into his black shirt . Dev caressed her hair and tried to calm her down
"Sshhh...everything will be fine ...sshhh"
Jatin went and fetched a glass of water.
"Sonakshi here have some"
She took a few sips .
"I am going and getting you some breakfast after we have a meeting to attend "
"Meeting "
"Yeah . Jatin stay with her "
"Hmm"
Dev went down and started making the breakfast .

"Sonakshi are you feeling better "
"Yes jatin"
"What were you doing "
"I received a letter stating that is should go down in the garden in the garden wearing red ....I thought it was from dev so I..."
"You have fallen for him right "
"Yeah"
"I guess he has also fallen for you "
"Really "
"Yeah the amount of care he shows for you, is outstanding . He never showed this much care to any of his friends"
Just then dev entered with the breakfast. He kept it on the bed and sat down near her . He handed jatin the plate and fed her himself.

They finally reached the secret hideout. The rest of the gang was waiting. Their were a few more angels and vampires. As soon as they entered ,Sonakshi was showered with many questions like how are you? You okey? They didn't hurt you na?
She gave all the answers and sat down on the chair . Dev explained each and every detail of the plan. A few changes were made and finally their plans were ready
"Let the game begin"
Was what everyone said.

Till now the plot was just a comedy one but from here the main plot starts. The seriousness and fear will start from this part onwards . I do hope you are liking the way the story is progressing. If you're thinking I am going to fast then please do let me know know.
