He said while eyeing Sonakshi and kissing her hand.
"Yeah this is sonakshi , my gf , Sonakshi this is Drake"

"Sorry not possible ,she will also be hearing whatever you have to say,I can't risk her life"

"Drake I know we have met after a long time and you want to spend time with me but sorry ,I won't let her out of my sight"

"Don't you find it a little fishy that he has sent you guys alone with jatin instead of coming with you."
"No, he is looking after the others back at our place , but how do you know about all this "

"To meet a few people " answered Sonakshi . Dev stared at her in confusion but then agreed
"Yeah we are off to see a few people "

He flew away.
"Sonakshi why did you lie to him, he is my best friend "
"Dev I don't know , the way he talks ,the way he walks ,I found it quite wierd.  Remember when you asked him how he knew we were here the fumbled which means he is definitely hiding​ something. How long have you been knowing him"
"A year"
"It's exactly when Raymond restarted his practices"
"Sonakshi he is not Raymond ,he is my friend for god sake . " He yelled Makin her jump . Her eyes welled up and she lowered her gaze
Realising his harshness dev calmed down
"Sonakshi I am sorry"  he said holding her hands. She kept her eyes lowered . Dev tilted her face up and wiped her tears
"I am sorry , is shouldn't have yelled at you,it's just that me and Drake our friends ,close friends and I can't tolerate a word against him. I forgot that you are meeting him for the first time and you have full rights to doubt . If would have been in your place I may have also doubted. I am sorry   you know na that I am a very short tempered vampire. You only have to control me after our marriage"
"Hmm that I will . I will make sure that your anger is controlled" she said smiling through her tears. Dev took her in a hug and kissed her brown curly hair. Just then jatin came
"Sorry sorry I didn't mean to invade your privacy. You should keep your romance upto yourself only ,no need to keep it for the public to see. You guys don't feel embarrassed but trust me the public will when they see that their would be royal leaders are busy in their PDA. What will the children learn from you, specially your own kids "
"Jatin stop it " said dev who was highly red due to the blush. Sonakshi just hid her face in his chest to avoid the embarrassment
"Fine I just came here to tell you we have got to resume our journey "
"Fine get the horses ready we are coming."
Jatin left and dev looked at sonakshi
"You won't cry now na"
"Nope"
"Good come"
Dev made a mental note to stop yelling at his delicate angel.

It had been an hour since they had been riding and till now there was no sign of the magical black forest. Sonakshi by now was damn tired and had fallen asleep. Dev had to hold her tightly so as she didn't fall down as the horse gallopped . Soon the forest came  into view and dev led everyone towards it. Sonakshi had finally woken up and now was looking around
"Dev where are we"
"The magical black forest "
"No wonder it is called black forest ,everything is so dark . .as if everything is black"
"Hmm"
"Dev ....could you please give me the water bottle "
"Sure"
He reached into the back pack and passed her the bottle . She took a few sips and then offered dev some. He wanted to drink but his hands were occupied
"Dev open your mouth I will help you"
She brought the water bottle near his mouth and he drank the water
"Dev "
"Yes jatin"
"Danger ahead "
"What danger "
" To pass this forest we have to pass the magical vines and you know that these vines can grab anyone and squeeze them to death"
"Oh God"
"Relax Sona we will make it "

A chottu chapter today also but guys I am still down with the fever. So I am unable to type much. Plz bear for a few more days,these short updates after that long chapter will be made
