Guys I am so sorry for a delayed update. it is not that i am abandoning this story but it is just that I was a little busy with a few marriages and you know na Indian marriages are so hectic and plus my network is a little erratic, so the updates may be a little delayed . Also my exams are coming so I may not be updating till 7 dec. Plz do not abandon this ff durig that time.

The next morning Dev woke up and found sonakshi peacefully sleeping . Like any other day he caressed her face ever so lightly,but today when he touched her face , she was really very hot .He immediately touched her forehead and retracted his hand . she was suffering from a very high fever . he got the thermometer and slightly woke her up. She was still in her sleep form but managed to keep the thermometer in her mouth. After a while when he saw that the temperature was really very high he called Alex .
"Alex come here quickly , sonakshi is suffering from a very high fever "
"I will be there in around fifteen minutes ,do one thing reduce the fever as much as you can"
"I'll try , but come quickly"
Saying so he keeps the phone down and goes and gets a wet cloth and keeps it on her forehead in an attempt to reduce the fever.
"How did she catch such a high fever? Was she worried or scared of something?"
He thinks

In the midddle of the night ,sonakshi woke up and screamed , hearing her scream ,dev woke up from his peaceful slumber only to find her sweating and crying
"Sona what happened ?" He asked pulling her closer and wiping her sweat beads from her forehead
"Did you see a bad dream"
She just nodded while he pulled her closer . It was the fifth time since her birthday that she had been seeing these nightmares
"ssh i am always here with you ...sssh"
He said rubbing her back while her soft sobs grew louder. After a while she looked up at dev
"Sona tell me all about those dreams baby"
Fresh tears made their way down as she remembered her nightmare.
He pulled her closer and hugged her till she finally fell asleep.
' Yes , she has been having regular nightmares "
"This fever is all due to the fear . Try sharing her pain and assure her everything is alright "
He gave some medicines and finally left
After a while she woke up with a slight headache
"Sona how are you feeling?"
"Better" She replied holding her head
"Headache??"
She nodded her head . He came and sat behind her and massaged her head. She felt relieved and leaned onto his chest.
"Sona what are your nightmares about? Look if you don't open up with me how will I help you "
"Dev.. they are really scary ....I can't handle them"
"I know baby ...but tell me at least "
"Dev ...they are about ..about ..you being kidnapped and then killed in for you me by Raymond and Drake...I see that they have escaped and they take revenge from you....they take the magical stones and then....kill you and rape me" saying so she bursted into tears
"Sona ssh"
He said caressing her back....soon she calms down and looks at him
"Dev..plz don't leave me"
"I won't...ssshh...what would you like to eat"
"Anything"
He calls the servent and tells him to bring the food upstairs . He makes her eat it and then makes her sleep for a while
"These nightmares are because of those mind reading vampires ......try to focus on something else" he said while caressing her hair
He does some spell due which no vampire could read her mind except him"
After a while she wakes up
"What happened"
"Washroom"
"Come "
He helps her to the washroom and then turns back and finds someone in his room
"Who are you"
Just then the vampire looks up and grabs emerald and runs
"Hey..." He chases him but he escapes
Jatin come up
"What happened "
"He took emerald "
Sonakshi who was standing behind them
"My nightmare....it is coming true ...they will take you also..."
"No Sona" he catches her before she could fall and takes her to the bed
"Sonakshi he hasn't taken emerald ...he has taken the fake one....I had kept it there cause I had a feeling something like this was too happen. The rings are safe in the locker "
Jatin goes towards the magical locker and opens it and shows her the three precious magical stones
"This means they are after the stones "
"Yes and look we have a clue "
