Chapter 10: Shatter

Nekro's already failing attempt to hit on Kaya was interrupted by a mass of black clouds hanging over the village. Silence fills the forest, not a single creature can be heared. Suddenly a loud and maniacal laugh can be heared, it was almost like a brick shattering a window. A dark energy can be felt coming from the heart of the storm. Nekro knowing he and his brothers completely worn out they're opponents decided to take they're jobs and guard the village. Nekro without a word ran toward the village. His brothers knowing what he was doing, followed, ready for anything. Nekro being quite fast, came to an immediate stop when he laid his eyes on where the laugh came from. A dark entity with menacing red eyes stood in the town's center. Without warning the demon turned to Nekro, as if piercing his heart with nothing but a glare. Nekro stood in fear staring at the beast. Nekro drew his blades barely gripping them. "A hero hm? Fun." The demon spoke in a dark tone. As if within a single second the demon was in front of Nekro. The demon raised his hand using some form of telekinesis to carry Nekro into the air. He pointed at the nearest wall and Nekro quickly slammed into it dropping his blades. Pando arrived and drew his staff stabbing through the beast from behind. The beasts head turned completely around like something from a horror movie and gave Pando nothing but a cold grin before slamming Nekro into the dirt. Then Pando was sent through a tree and through the wall of a house. "Anybody else wanna try to be a hero?" The demon said following with a devilish laugh. Nekro stood up clenching his fist. He ran at the demon leaping into the air charging his fist at the beast. His fist hit some form a force field and once again, Nekro was slammed into the floor. Nekro and Pando lay on the ground lifeless. Tsuyoi stood behind a building trying to think of a possible weakness to the creature knowing if he interfered, he would just cause more trouble. Nekro rose once again with a clenched fist bleeding from his other arm. "i-i won't go down. Not yet." Nekro said clearly injured. Nekro didn't even get a chance to attack this time, he was sent into a wall and the demon used some form of dark magic to keep Nekro down. "Stop trying kid, it's getting annoying." The demon said brushing himself off. Pando swung his staff toward the demons head only to be grabbed by his ankles and slammed into the floor. Suddenly, as it seems that all is lost. A beam of light comes down from the heavens. All that is heared, is the soothing sound of a woman's voice. "Hush my children, you have fought bravely and without doubt."
