Chapter 11: Chosen

"W-what is this?! Hikari?! After decades of lying dormant, now is when you decide to annoy me?!" The beast yells out furiously. "I choose to act now. Because your hurting my children." The goddess Hikari spoke softly. "That's total BS! You think of everyone as your supposed children! Well here! I'll show you my strength by turning one of your beloved children against You!" He said as Nekro began floating upward with a purple glow. Suddenly Nekro's eyes began turning purple, his hair becoming white. "I won't let you!" Hikari spoke reaching toward Nekro. Nekro's eyes switched between red and purple while he mumbled some indistinguishable gibberish. Finally overpowering the demon Hikari sent him straight back to the underworld where he originally was supposed to reside. Nekro was left on the floor, his hair now white, and with one purple eye and one red eye. "Fortunately I was able to ward him off before he got a chance to infect you with any darkness. Unfortunately, I cannot be here to protect you every time. I'll bestow upon you power, to protect the innocent. Nekro, you shall receive the power of my favorite knight. Sokudo, knight of the wind. Granting you blistering speed. Pando, my brave half breed. You shall receive the power of Aqua the water mage. And Tsuyoi, I've kept my eye on you your entire life. I know you chose not to fight the monster, but think if strategies to overcome the beast. I'll give you the Firepower you need from the captain of my armies, Tsuna together you three shall be unstoppable. Now go, be the heroes of this beautiful land!" The voice seemed to fade away with those last few words. Nekro awoke to Nicole sitting over him. " Ha, You do care!" He said weakly. "Shut up! If you pull a stunt like that again I'll kill You!!" She said crossing her arms. "If I nearly die you'll kill me? Doesn't that seem kinda counter intuitive?" He said teasingly. She stood up leaving him and his brothers in the dirt. Nekro rose up to have his usual black hair that covered his left eye like usual. He slowly realised his hair was no longer black, but a pearly white. Pando sat up feeling very dehydrated. "D-did that all really happen? It must have, otherwise I don't think my spine would be broken in 18 different places." Nekro said to himself. "I don't think that's possible." Tsuyoi said helping him up. "I gotta catch up to Nicole!" Nekro said and he immediately sped into a wall. "I-I have super speed?" Nekro ran to a nearby mirror and lifted his hair to reveal his left eye was purple and his hair was white. "And a makeover?" Nekro said confusedly. Pando sat up stretching as water rose behind him. "I have water manipulation?" "Of course since I'm the strongest there was no need to give me powers." Tsuyoi said punching a nearby piece of debris causing a shockwave. "I have super strength." "WE HAVE POWERS!!!" they all say in unicine.
