-Star's POV-
Detention wasn't so bad today, if you don't count the beginning. Awkward. Today the gang, not counting Tom, had all sorts of fun. Janna made me mayor of detention, I made a huge pool with water slides, and then Marco gave a lecture on pool safety before we dove into the water.
We finally walked home together.
"So, I was thinking about our Summer prank," Janna said with her signature smirk. "and Marco asked to join us."
Marco did? The kid who just taught me about pool safety wants to help with the big prank.
"You want to help prank the camp?" I said, confused.
"If that's okay with you." Marco stopped to fix his crutches, and then continued to walk with me and Janna.
"Yeah, it's just, your the Safe Kids, and you want to prank. Are you okay? Who are you and where's Marco?" I laughed
We all laughed and walked into our cabin. Janna invited Marco into our room so we can talk about the prank. My other bunk mate, Lorraine was still at the bonfire, as were Marco's mates.
"So I was thinking we let out a bunch of mutant hedgehogs into the lakes! They'll make the lake so glittery!"
"Is that safe?" Marco asked.
"Totally. Only a few campers and fish will disintegrate."
"O-okay, how about a different idea." Marco said politely.
"What if I take my catapult-" Janna started to suggest.
"Nope, nope, nope." Marco shook his head.
"Come on, Marco. Just hear Janna out."
"Like I was saying, we put Marco in the catapult, during the weekly bonfire, and shoot him in there!" Janna used her arms to show a catapult shooting off.
"No!" Marco yelled. "There is no way that is safe!"
"You'd be wearing a helmet to protect your head from hitting a log." Janna whined.
"But what's going to protect me from the fire!?" Marco complained.
"Janna, we can't prank Marco. He is literally sitting right there."
"This isn't a prank for Marco!" Janna said, like it was obvious.
"Then who is it for?"
"The camp, duhhhh! After Marco's 'accident', the camps insurance won't be able to cover his hospital trip. This would leave the camp in a mountain of dept, making CFTK close down!" Janna explained, excitedly.
"Um, just leave that in the suggestion box."
"You could add that to the box if the box is going to be set on fire." Marco mumbled.
"Marco, do you have any ideas?"
"Well-" He was about to share.
"They can't be about sheets." Janna added.
"Then I don't have any ideas." Marco frowned.
"Well, I'm bored." I flopped onto my bed.
"Ooooh! I have a great one." Janna rubbed her hands together.
"What?"
"I need a little time to figure the entire thing out. I'll tell you guys tomorrow. We should get some sleep." Janna opened the door for Marco to leave.
"Good night." I waved to Marco as he left.
"Night." Marco replied.
"See ya tomorrow, Diaz."Janna shut the door.
