Tommy's POV

As i open my eyes just for a second i saw everything in slow motion i heard my Ruby saying that she's sorry for god knows what because i know that none of this was her fault.

I watched as she turns round for a second like she was checking something around her well around us but thats when the door blew open and the fire came rushing through straight towards us, just when i was about to panic looking up and saw Ruby in a protective stance over me with her eyes closed struggling with something and then she opened her arms wide open thats when i saw it i wouldnt have believed it if i didnt see it with my own eyes but when you see a blue see through shield that was coming from my mate and was covering her and then began covering me keeping me from getting hurt and burned.

I watched as the fire was going around us amused that we wasnt burning to death like we normally would but i am happy that if i did die it would be with my one true love, as the fire began to go out i looked back at my mate to see if she was ok but thats when i felt her fall on top of me and then so did the shield as you saw gaps into it as it starts to vanishes.

"Ruby?" i moved my arm to move a strand of her hair from her face, i tried to get her to reply back to me but she didnt move an inch.

"Ruby?" shaking her gently to get her to wake up but she never did, i heard my wolf whimper for hes mate to wake up from the sound of hes voice but she still didnt move.

Moving myself so i was on top and laid her down on the floor to look at her properly looking at places to make sure she wasnt hurt but she looked fine and thats what scared me the most if she was really fine then why wont she wake up.

'What's wrong with her?'  i asked my wolf.

'I'm not sure but shes still breathing'  i looked down and saw her chest was moving up and down just like he said, i used my hand and i checked for a pulse but it was very weak. 

Getting up onto my feet and pulled myself up, bending down and gently picked her up as i had her in my arms her head fell backwards and her arms fell also.

Walking towards to the door and still saw things were on fire looking at one bit that caught my eyes and saw someone burning outside the door.

Walking up the stairs and began moving towards the entrace of the school with black and gray smoke still around the whole school. 

"OMG"

"How the hell did he survive?"

"Am i seeing things?"

Those was the first things i heard as i walked out through those doors of the school, i didnt stop and talk so i just walked pack everyone and ran to the pack house, as we arrived i walked to our bed room and laid her there so she was comfortable.

"Tommy?" i heard my mum whisper getting my attention from Ruby i turned round and saw her standing there.

"Yeah?" my voice broke the moment i opened my mouth.

"Oh sweetie..." she walked over and hugged me as i silently cried into my mums shoulder.

"Why isnt she waking up mum?" i whimper in her shoulder as she tries to comfort me.

"She will dearling, just give her sometime" i nodded and agreed to let the doctors have a look at her and myself, they have told me that she's in an early stage of a coma so she would be healing herself before she comes out of it well thats if she wakes up that is...
