There are nights when the wolves are silent and only the moon howls.

Ruby's POV

I felt weird i couldnt control any of my emotions they all felt hightened, i normally could control myself but not today something was going to happen and i had no idea what it was.

Looking at the calender at the dates and saw what it meant and how all of it made sense.

Full moon...

Gulping for air feeling myself and started to panic.

"Hey Ruby, are you ok?" i heard a voice behind me making me jump in the air, looking around and found Seth looking just as shocked as myself was.

"I... if i tell you something you cant tell any one else which means including Tommy?" hoping i wasnt making a mistake in telling him.

"Sure" he sounded unsure at first but he still pointed to the sofa and gave me a smile telling me its ok to carry on.

"Full moons... i dont really get on with them..."

"What do you mean?" frowning at me not getting it and obviously confused.

Here goes nothing...

"The moon changes me into something completely different than i am now, i become dangerous and i hurt people... i cant control it..." one by one i had flashbacks olf everytime the full moon came and saw what happened and what i did to other people that are behind me.

"Why cant you control it?"

"Because i was never taught how to..."

"You have to tell Tommy Ruby, he can help" shaking my head knowing what he was saying but didnt like it.

"N..no i cant i dont want to tell him because then he will want to help and thats where he will get hurt" telling him still shaking my head knowing it was a bad idea.

"Then if you wont tell him, ill just have to be the one to help you"

"I dont want to hurt you either Seth" knwoing how that must have sounded, he gave me that smile again reassuring me that its fine.

"I know you wont hurt me Ruby, we will go to one of the cottages in the middle of the woods far away from the pack house and we will lock you up in the basement and ill wait upstairs until morning and ill unlock the door and we will go back simple as" i thought it over and i knew i was still risking hurting him but it was the safest way just hoping those bars are strong.

"Ok but no matter how much i beg to be let out dont listen until the morning" he looked at me confused but nodded.

"Promise me Seth, i dont want you to get hurt but your the only one that can help me"

"I promise"

"And dont let any body in that basement until its over... until the morning" knowing there was a chance Tommy would come looking for me.

"I wont, i promise."

"I better go and get everything ready from the cellers and get them to the cottage in the middle of the woods and get everything set up for today ill also much sure to know when the moon is up fully so we can get everything ready for atleast 2 hours before its suppose to happen and if you cant control it we will have to go there every full moon until you can alright ?" i saw him getting off the sofa and started moving out of the door just when Tommy walks into the doors making him jump and my eyes widens hoping he didnt hear any of it.
