Chapter 4

LAURENS POINT OF VIEW

I'm out ! We made it

I cant believe I have been down there for years and now finally I am out. She said.

I have been in what you call hell for year after year after year and now I am finally seeing the world again.

Zoey ! come here we need to talk. As I slowly approached her

Me: " I just want to thank you so much " I said

Zoey:" its cool , but next time stop doubting maybe you couldve been out earlier ". She said

Me: No it's not cool , when they brung you into that room I immediately doubted you ... you kept telling me that we were going to get out of here and I didn't believe you I doubted your intelligence. I was so mean to you for crying out loud. You saved me from death ... there is no way that I can sit here and just accept " its cool" you have to let me repay you... and even if you say no I will rep-

Zoey: No its cool for real ... I promise there is no need to repay me

Me: Yes there is and I will do just that.

I walked away feeling as if I have been really touched by an angel. I was so rude to her and she still saved me , like who does that ?

As time went by we finally stopped running and we found a street. We vowed to each other not to tell everyone about this yet. Lets find out parents and tell them , then the cops then everyon can know. We all said bye to each other and we went our seperate ways.

I remembered my address : 4983 Dorian lane.

I just needed to get there... I asked all types of people for money and soon enough I got about 10 dollars and I caught the bus to the house , it took a long time though because I didn't no where I was.

I saw the walkway and my eyes watered so bad ... and see I'm not the type to sit there and cry.

I looked over and I saw the window was wide open and I saw my mom little sister and dad eating.

I slowly approached the door , hoping they still remembered me. By then my eyes are completely filled with water. I knocked on the door and was really crying hard now. The door opened slowly ... my mom looked at me .... she gasped and then started crying so hard.

Mom : Lauren ? she asked

Me: Yes mom , its me . As my eyes filled with tears.

ZOEYS POINT OF VIEW

" Aubrey we need to get home and quick it is getting dark , and I know mom is worried sick "

We quickly ran , until we couldn't run any more ... we didn't know where was but we kept going

Soon enough we found our house . I ran as fast as my little legs could move and I reached the door and I knocked. Nobody came to the door but I heard a voice that sounded so sad as if they where crying the whole time.

" Its open" as she sobbed

I walked in and followed the sobs and I finally saw my mother laying down facing away from me ,

" Mom , I'm here ". i said
