Chapter 35

I opened the door and We walked down the hall a little bit and then of course me being clumsy i bumped into someone and guess who I saw .... Jake. I mean am I that irresistible ? Its flattering that he came all the away to L.A to see me but come on move on now. I have so why can't he ? I know I look sexy but goshh give me a break . You know my mother did always say I was going to be a heartbreaker and I guess she was right.

" Jake ! , Why are you here ?" I asked coldly

" My girlfriend just moved down here ". He said

" Its cute how you still call me girlfriend but we are over Jake " I said

" oh no ! You aren't my girlfriend anymore , My new girlfriend Lola moved down here ". He said proudly

" Oh ". I said

Man I thought that I was breaking his heart. when he just broke mines... he promised me no matter what he will still love me and always keep trying to get me back. He must've forgot about it and I must jog his memory because I think its cute when he tries it just shows how much he is willing to keep trying and he just proved to me that he stopped trying after the first time he is forgetting he had 1,000,000 more chances.

" Yup . Do you know where room 645 is ?". He asked

" No I don't ". I said angrily

" Ha-ha , you aren't Jealous now are you ?". He asked

" of course not . You know im not the jealous type ". I said

" oh really ?". He asked

" Jake dont forget your promise that you made to me when we first started dating , don't forget ! ". I demanded

" What promise ? I never promised you anything ". He said

" whatever Jake ". I said

Just when I was about to move he grabbed Sarah and picked her up. I sat there feeling horrible. I wanted him back so bad but I wanted to see him try. I guess some things just need to remain unsaid. He kissed her on her cheek and he hugged her so tightly. When he put her down I didnt say anything else to him  just grabbed her hand and pulled her with me to the pool.

As we entered the pool it was packed. There were so many people in there and it looked so fun, But fun was the last thing on my mind. I sat on the nearest chair that was empty and we got into the pool.

" Mummy can I go in ?". Sarah asked

" Yeah stay in the 3 feet okay ? Dont be grown and calm your little self down okay ? Dont talk to strangers and if anyone puts there hands on you scream to the top of your lungs okay ?". I asked

" Okay mummy dont worry ". She said

All I could do is smile and I let her free. I sat on the chair and then the girl I met , you know the one is living across the hall.

" Hey , I see you came ". She said

" Yeah I did , my daughter has been dying to come to the pool all day ". I said smiling

" Awe thats cute , where is she ". She asked

" Over there in the pool ". I said pointing

As I said that she went  over too her and she played with her it was so cute. I put on my sunglasses and I laid back and relaxed until a voice suddenly interrupted me.

" Hey Zoey ?". A guy said

" Do I know you ?". I asked

" Its me your neighbors boyfriend ". He said

" Oh , hey ?". I asked

" Yeah can I just tell you , you are beautiful ". He said

" Thanks but go tell your girlfiriend that .. not me ". I said

" Why you are so good looking I want you Zoey ". He said

" Bye kid ". I said

I know , I know I said kid and he is like 21 or something but he is hitting on my and I have a boyfriend. Or so I think. Look I dont know about you but Jake is the one.He finally walked away from me and laid down on his chair which was only like 2 away from mines. I decided why dont I get into the water huh ? I jumped out and hopped into the water. My bathing suit was soaked and it felt great my long straight hair crinkled up. After some long hours of being in the pool I got out and me and Sarah both laid onto our chair and chilled. Zoning everything out I put in my headphones and I began singing to the song ... Rihanna whats my name I mustve was hitting every note because when I opened my eyes everyone was staring at me. I thought I was doing horribly.

I took the headphones out of my ears and I looked up.

This one lady was smiling at me and she was a little scary.

" Hi my name is Bryce Waters ". She said shaking my hand

Everyone was still surounding me and there phones was out. They were recording me and they were acting a little crazy.

" Hello , um whats going on here ?". I asked confused

" Well everyone heard your singing ". She said

" Oh no , I am so sorry I had no idea you guys were listening ". I said

" Oh no sweetie , dont be sorry in fact be glad because I would like to sign you in my record label". She said

" You would like to do what ?". I asked

" I would like to sign you ". She said

" Omgee , foreal ?". I squealed

" Yes meet me at my studio tommorow at 8:00 am and we will go from there ". She said

Everyone around us started clapping and cheering and were so happy. I was about to be famous. I never seen this coming for me at all. I jumped out of my seat and people kept asking me for my autographs. I was quite surprised.

" Guys I am not famous ". I said

" Just go with it mom ". Sarah said

I laughed and started signing away. Man did that feel good so I guess I am the new best thing ?
