When I told him I think the stalker is my dad he immieditely started flipping through papers. He found a paper and I couldnt quite see it completely but it was a dark skin guy and from where I was sitting it looked just like my dad. I tried leaning a little closer until I could see the paper but he quickly moved it away from my sight.
" Can I see the man ?". I asked
" No , I uh ... I think its time for you to go" He said
" Why ? We need to talk about this ". I said
" No I need you to go ". He said
The police came into the room and escorted me out. I didnt understand what did I do or say wrong ? I was standing outside just to take a breather. After breathing and really relaxing for a few minutes and I got back into the car. I decided that I was going to go back to L.A today. I drove to the airport and made my way to LAX.
After almost 2 days I finally got back to the hotel. I parked my car right outside and went inside the building. Once I placed my key card inside the door I saw Jake and Sarah sleeping on the couch. I walked over to them and I kissed them both on the head. Soon after hitting up the shower I got out with my hair freakishly curly. I walked out of the bathroom threw on some shorts and a tank top. Walking into the kitchen the door was busted down. I screamed and ran over to Sarah. I layed her down on the floor as I covered her up with my body. I looked up and the cops were standing at the door with guns in there hands.
" I need you to come with me sir ". The police said
" What is going on here ?". I yelled
" I didnt do anything !". Jake yelled
" You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed to you by the state ". The Police said
They began to drag him away with the handcuffs on his hands. Sarah began to cry and yell his name. He couldnt do anything to calm her down and even I have tried. The brung him downstairs and we followed.
" Jake what did you do ?". I asked him
" I will explain everything later ". He said
" How could you do this Jake , you do something and have these cops come and break down our door scaring our daughter half to death ". I said
" Zoey please just know I will tell you everything ". He said
They took him away and placed him in the back of the cop car. Sarah was crying so hard her eyes began to turn red. I picked her up and tried everything possible. I went back to the hotel room grabbed my purse , phone , and keys. I put Sarah into her jean jacket because it was getting a little chilly. We got into the car and she was still crying all she wanted to do was see her dad and know he was okay. I pulled up to L.A jail house. I was terrified of going places like this because all of these people in here are dangerous.
We walked inside and I signed in and we went through checkings and all type of stuff. We had to sit in chairs and wait some time. Sarah fell asleep from all the crying she had done earlier and still till the moment she fell asleep. I was pissed because I am now sitting in here trying to figure out what happened.
" Ma'am do you know what has happened ?". The police asked
" No sir I have no idea ". I said
" Your husband is a murderer ". He said
" No he isnt , he would never kill anyone ". I said
" Well he did ". He said
" Can I visit him ?". I asked
" Yeah in about 6 hours we have to put him in a cell ". He said
I waited those 6 hours because I wanted the answers. When 6 hours went by they escorted us to the visiting room. I walked in and sat down. Jake was behind like a clear plastic wall. I could see him but I couldnt touch him or anything.
" Let me explain everything Zoey ". He said
" Go ahead explain , because I am on my last string with you Jake ". I said
" Look me and Sarah was at the ice-cream shop and some stuff went down with me and Frenando and he said that he will kill Sarah if I dont give him money. I told him I dont have the money so he told me to kill someone ". He said
" You where with Frenando ?!". I basically yelled
" I didnt know he was going to be there , it was supposed to be time with just me and Sarah no one else but he was there with his daughter and then he pulled out this gun and said if I dont finish some business Sarah will get shot or you know dead ". Jake said
" So you killed someone ?". I asked
" Yeah , I had to if I wanted my daughter to survive ". He said
" Jake you are in freaking prison ". I yelled
" What you want me to do ? I wasnt about to put my childs life at risk ". He said
" You already did ... she is expecting you to come home any minute but you cant because you are in jail ". I said
" I did it for a reason okay ?". He said
" How long you going to be in Jail Jake ?". I asked
" A while ". He said
I was done talking with him. Sarah came running in and she was crying so much. Her words were so much clearer and she just seemed so much older by her words. Tears were completely rushing down her face , Her Hazel eyes were glowing and she was so hurt to the point were it hurt me probably way more than it hurts her.
" Daddy please come home !". She yelled
As she yelled the words she broke release from the cops grip and she ran up to him she couldnt get to far but whatever strength she had in her was enough for her to get her point across to her dad.
The cops came and grabbed her and Jake jumped up out of his seat out of anger. He couldnt do anything because there were 4 guards behind him and there was a wall between us. A tear came sliding down my face as I turned away. Jake felt so bad inside I just knew he did. I heard a noise and Jake was fighting each one of the guards one by one. Each of them falling to the ground and he tried coming around to Sarah but even more guards came out. This was a type of anger that I have never seen Jake inn. It was quite scary if you ask me.
" Please come back and visit me ". He said letting tears fall
" I dont know Jake ". I said walking away
I left the room and we were escorted out of the jail. I cried and cried aswell as Sarah I soon fixed myself up because I needed to be a parent to my daughter.
