Up's and Downs

Chapter 8

Meek POV-
I woke up and seen that it was 1:11 "damn I been sleep for that long" I said to myself getting up heading to the bathroom to shower,brush my teeth and wash my face. Once I got out I put on a white tank top and some grey Adidas joggers until later. I went downstairs to eat me some toaster strudels per usual I went im the living room to play the game and pass time but ended up falling back to sleep on the couch.

Nicki POV-
It was 6:22 and Meek was coming at 8:30 but said to be ready by 8:00 so I decided to take my shower now since it takes long to do my hair. I got in the shower and shaved EVERYWHERE due to me not knowing what would go down tonight. After I got out I went in my room to do my makeup and hair, I plugged up my speaker to listen to music. Tammy Rivera- All These Kisses played and I sang along "This my shitttt!" I said before I started to sing.
" today's so hard so much stress, life won't let up boy just rest. Lay down and let me cover you wit all these kisses, so much on your mind it weighs on your head but baby your worry free in this bed go head and let me cover you wit all these kisses."
After I finished my makeup I did straightened my hair but put it into a low ponytail in the back. I put on my hoop earrings applying red lipstick going to my closet. I chose a black one piece with a criss cross pattern at the boob and some black knee high boots. I added some jewelry and switched all my things into my black Chanel purse. After all that I checked the time seeing it was 7:57 "Right on time" I said to myself putting my charger inside my purse just in case I went and spent a night over Meeks.

Meek POV-
After my nap I woke up and got ready putting on a button up polo long sleeve dress shirt and some slacks after awhile I checked the time seeing it was 8:02 Nicki lived about 12 minutes away so I decided to leave know not knowing if the highways were busy or not. I stopped at the store and bought her some red roses,once I got to her home it was 8:33. I turned the car off going to knock on her door with the roses.

Nicki POV-
"Awwwwn" I said seeing Meek at my door looking fine with the fresh cut and some roses. "Thank you Meeky" I said taking them smiling hard, "You welcome, and not that gay ass name again" he said making me laugh. I put the roses in a vase going out the door locking it behind me, I then gave Meek hug and he grabbed my ass per usual. "Don't you think I deserve a kiss" he said releasing the hug "I guess" I said giving him a kiss and of course it turned into a tongue kiss. "You better quit it before we stay here" Meek said making me laugh "I wouldn't mind" I said winking. We went to the car Meek opened my door for me once we got in I asked "Where are we going?" "To a place" Meek said driving. "Smart ass" I said after a pause Meek chuckled for the rest of the way we drove in a comfortable silence. We pulled up to some fancy restaurant which I had never been to.

Meek POV-
Lord knows I was scared as hell to ask Nicki to be mines but all I was thinking were good thoughts,looking on the bright side. Me and Nicki ordered our food and drinks, we were talking about relationships when I decided it was time. "Nicki I wanna ask you a question and I want a very honest answer" I said looking her in her eyes "Um okay Meek your scaring me" she said I took and long pause and finally spoke up. "Nicki, will you be my girlfriend?" I asked, she smiled at me and then finally said "Yes Meek, yes I would love to be your girlfriend". "You sure?" I asked needing clarification, "Yes positive" she said smiling still.

Nicki POV-
Meek finally asked me to he his girlfriend and I was soooooo happy. "But" I said needing to let him know some things. "But what?" "I just hope your serious about us because I really like you and I don't wanna get my feelings involved then get them hurt" I said "I am serious about us Nic, very serious" "And another thing I don't tolerate disrespect from ANYONE so I hope who ever you plan on bringing me around has some respect". "I feel you" Meek said "Well tonight went good, im full and ready to go" I said gathering my things "Me too" Meek said he paid the bill and we left. Once we got to my house he told me he'd come over tomorrow so we could spend time together. We said our goodbyes and I went in the house to get ready for bed.
