Up's and Downs

Chapter 21

Meek pov-
I had been up all night thinking about Nicki and this whole baby thing. I wouldn't say I was mad about it I would say I was more disappointed... with myself. I did want to eventually have a baby with Nicki but I just wanted us to be in a stable relationship because as of now we really aren't fully together and now I feel as if i were to ask her she would think it was because of her being pregnant. No matter what's going on with us I will be there for our baby though, I just want us in a better place. I got up and took a shower so I could go to Nicki's house. I went and got us some breakfast too go from IHOP. When I got to her house I knocked on the door for almost 10 minutes until a messy haired Nicki answered.

Nicki pov-
I was in my bed sleeping good until I heard somebody practically banging on my fucking door I got up and went downstairs snatching the door open to see Meek. "First off why the fuck are you knocking so damn hard its to fucking early for this and second off what the fuck are you doing here anyway?" I asked with an attitude "Im guessing you done acting like a bit- "Watch your mouth Onika" Meek said sternly which kinda turned me on but he don't deserve to even look at me right about now."I see were calling each other by first nanes Robert" I said letting him in "So wassup?" I asked We need to talk he said handing me an IHOP bag "About what because at this point I don't need to be getting all worked up, my doctor said that's not good for me" I said while getting my food out the bag "And thank you" I said referring to the food "You welcome, and I know that's why I just wanted to apologize for yesterday because like you said I do have to deal with it, I just wanted us to be in an actual stable relationship before anything else" Meek said. We talked about everything and I can honestly say that this was the best talk we'd ever had. We did decide that were not gonna rush the whole relationship thing but we both are off limits to other people and as far as any outsiders know, we are still together. I didn't have work till 2:00 and it was almost 11 so me and Meek still had time to chill. "When is your first doctors appointment?" Meek asked out of the blue "Next week on the 16th at 11:30 I'll officially be one month" I said "Ok im gonna tell my mom and Papi later once I got pick him up" Meek said "Why does he love being with her so much, what spell did she put on him" I asked "I wonder the same thing" Meek said "What if yo mom isn't happy for us" I asked "Then "she'll just have to deal with it" Meek said in a squeaky voice mimicking me making me laugh "I doubt it though my mom has been asking me for another grandchild for the longest" he said taking his hand through my hair which was making me sleepy.

Meek pov-
It was 12:27 and I didn't know what time Nicki gets up for work so I just decided to wake her up now. "Nicki get up" I said shaking her "What time is it" she said turing on her back "Time for you to get up" I said walking off to get my food out the microwave.

Nicki pov-
I got up taking a quick shower taking off my scarf combing out my wrapped hair, I made a mental note to make me an hair appointment so I could get my hair dyed something other than black because I was tired of it.
I put on an all black cute little outfit getting my gucci slides out my closet sliding those on. After I was done getting ready it was 1:36 and I decided to leave now so I could get me a vanilla bean from Starbucks which was like 12 minutes away.

Meek pov-
I heard Nicki coming down toward the kitchen as I was leaving. "Don't you think you look a little to cute to be going to work" I said. "Um not not really I work at an clothing store what should I wear a uniform" she said "Plus these are clothes from my store so why not" "Oh and go pick these up from Walgreens for me, I'll be at work all day" she said handing me a paper which I guess said what vitamins she needed to buy. "Are you asking me or telling me" I asked laughing at her bossy ass. "Telling duh" she said flipping her hair "Ok I gotta go though" she said digging in her purse "Why so early?" I asked seeing what time it was "I want Starbucks and the lines be long at this time of day" she said pulling her keys out. I walked her outside giving her a hug and kiss going back inside her house since somebody needed to be here so the people could bring her new refrigerator.

Nicki pov-
I was at work ringing up a costumer, for some reason today we were very busy. "That will be $32.12 ma'am" I said to an costumer, she handed me her card and I swiped it handing her the receipt. After ringing up like 5 more customers it was time for my break, Kaila had ordered me her and Candi some pizza since Rika and Thembi weren't on break yet. "So how's life bitchhhhh" Kaila asked Candi since she has yet to spill the tea on her and Tak. "Girl we aren't in a relationship if that's what you wanna know, I went over Rikas house and he was there with Deen he asked me for my number and I gave it to him but im not for the whole relationship thing" Candi said "And why not" I asked "I wanna enjoy the single lifeeeee" she said "Nah you wanna enjoy the hoe life" Kaila said making us laugh "That also" Candi said. After break it seemed like the shop was even more packed and at this point I was ready to go, I was right back where I started with the throwing up and the nausea after I had that pizza I didn't say anything because I'd knew the girls would send me home. "Nic you ok?" Rika asked looking at me "No" I said honestly "I've been throwing up since I ate that pizza and I feel so fucking dizzy" I said sitting down before I fell "Ok well you need some water and you also need to go home" she said before I could say anything I got up rushing to the closest trash can throwing my guts up. After arguing with Rika about me going home she left it alone which was weird because rika neverrrr left an argument alone, she was the queen of the drama queens. As I was putting new clothes on the racks I felt somebody watching me from behind, "May I help you?" I said not turing around "Yes please" somebody said in a squeaky fake sounding voice which made me turn around seeing Meek "Hey what you doing here" I said going in for a kiss but he moved his face "Nope you been throwing up here with no tooth brush" he said "Sherika" I said knowing she called him "I said I didn't wanna leave you Bitch" I said also and she laughed "Get yo stuff" Meek said going over to the girls I went to get my purse, phone, and keys. "What was the point of you coming if Im still driving my own car" I said to Meek "Deen dropped me off smart ass" he said taking my keys out of my hand. "Where's Papi?" I asked getting in the passenger seat "Shit, I gota go get him actually" he said "Right now?" I asked "Yea do you mind?" he asked "Of course not" I said letting my seat back Meek connected his phone to the aux cord playing music, he stopped it calling Fah I looked over seeing her name was Papi's mother "Hello" she said "Im about to be there to get Papi so make sure he's ready" Meek said "Ok" she said hanging up. "Does Papi know about me being pregnant?" I asked "Yea" Meek said "Oh what was his reaction" I asked "He was happy as hell jumping off the walls and my mom wants to see you" he said "Does she know?" I asked "Yep" he said pulling up to Fahima's house im guessing. Meek knocked and Papi came out after telling his mon bye and giving Meek a hug Meek pointed to the car I guess telling him I was in there because he came to my side. I opened the door getting out "NICKIIIII" he yelled hugging me as I picked him up "I missed you soo muchh" I told him. Meek put his stuff in the back and I opened the door for him to get in. Once we got to Meeks house Papi was sleep, I got out walking to the drivers side "What you doing?" Meek asked looking at me "About to go home" I said "Why I want you to stay here" he said grabbing my ass and kissing my neck which I know left a hickey. "Meek I have something to do tomorrow" I said "Likeeeee?" he asked "Im taking my mommy out to eat and after that I have meeting with a Fashion designer for my own clothing line" I said holding Papi still standing by my car "So" he said "Pleaseee" he said being dramatic "Ok fine but im leaving first thing in the morning" I said walking to the door.

Meek pov-
Nicki was putting papi down while I was about to get in the shower. Nicki had told me that she was going out to eat with her mom tomorrow and I was thinking about going so I could meet her for the first time. After I got out I went in my room and seen Nicki laying on the bed on the phone "WHAT THE HELL WHEN?" she yelled hopping up quickly putting her shoes on grabbing her stuff while shaking looking like she wanted to cry "Ok i-im on the way" she said "What happened?" I asked grabbing her hand "my my brother" was all she said before running out the door.
