Chapter 28

Meek pov-
I was at Omellys house chilling all day I had haven't been answering my phone but nothings wrong. I decided to go home before Nicki came looking for me when I got home I seen that her car wasn't there, I called her asking where she was and she said outside of Omellys house. After Nicki came home she told me that Papi and another classmate got into an disagreement over a crayon which led to Papi smacking the boy I had talked to Papi because I just don't think that whooping him would make it any better, I also took his Ipad and PlayStation away until he got his act right. Nicki had an doctor's appointment tomorrow she's 7 going on 8 months her due date is October 20 and I was getting more and more scared as the day got closer. Me and Nicki discussed the name and we decided on Riley Rei'Lani Williams Sunday we were going to start sending out invitations to family and close friends.

Nicki pov-
Today I had an doctor's appointment and 10:30 and it was 9:30, Meek and Papi were staying here because I would be late waiting on them, I was about to leave out the door when I heard movements coming from Papis room I didn't bother going up there because then he'd wanna go with me. I stopped by McDonald's getting me something to eat, my doctor had told me everything was fine with my baby. On my way home I got a text from Meek saying he was about to take Papi to Kathy's and go see his P.O since I had the house to myself I decided to clean up. First I did the living room and sweeping and mopping the floor I cleaned off the dining room table then started the kitchen, I washed the dishes wiped the counters and also swept and mopped the floor.

I made my way upstairs going to the first room on the right which was Papis of course his room was a huge mess, after cleaning his room I went next door cleaning his bathroom which had toys every where.

I then cleaned me and Meeks bed and bathroom, the extra bedroom was always untouched so it was no need for me to go in there and Riley's room hasn't been started on yet, Na wanted to decorate it for me and Meek as an surprise when it was closer to my due date.

After cleaning I went to take a shower, once I got out I put on some shorts and a tank top getting in our bed falling asleep.

Meek pov-
When I got back home I seen that Nicki had cleaned up "Daddy can I get in the pool?" Papi asked "In a minute" I said even though he should be in trouble for smacking another student. I looked at my phone seeing it was 1:34 going in the room I seen Nicki in the bed sleep "Nicki" I said shaking her "Hmm" she said turning over "Get up" I said kissing all over her face she started stretching and got up "Im hungry" she said which I knew was coming "That's all you ever say" I said laughing "What you wanna eat?" I asked "A burger from Applebee's" she said smiling showing her dimples "I'll go get it but can you go watch Papi get in the pool?" I asked "Yes" she said getting out of the bed.

Nicki pov-
"Damn did yo ass grow over night" Meek said grabbing it making me laugh I was putting on some clothes when my phone dinged indicating I had a text. I picked it up seeing the lady who was making our baby shower invitations had texted me asking could she bring them over because they were ready I told her yes and also gave her our address. Meek had left to get some food and I watching Papi play in the pool with my feet in the water my phone was ringing but it was on the chair and I didn't feel like getting up "Papi can you get my phone for me?" I asked "Yesssss" he said getting out of the water running "Be careful!" I yelled. When he gave it to me I looked at my missed calls seeing Candi had called and was calling again "Hello" I said answering "Hey bestfriend gues- "Hold on someone's calling" I said clicking over. It was lady telling me she was outside with the invitations when I got back in I called Meek because he's taking way to long, the first time he didn't answer so I called again "Meek what's taking you so long im starving and so is Papi" I said "I'm on my way man" he said hanging up which made me kind of suspicious but I rubbed it off.

September 4th...
Tomorrow was me and Meeks baby shower and I couldn't be more excited. Na, Candi, Rika, and my mom had been planning it so for me and Meek everything was a surprise. I was at work when Kira walked in late "Kira let me talk to you for a second" I said walking to the back sitting down "What's up with you lately?" I asked " I'm pregnant and it's been hard for me to get up in the morning without feeling sick and throwing up" she said "Well you should have told me that instead of coming in late everyday putting your job on the line" I said "I'm sorry Nicki" she said "For everything" she said before getting up and leaving "Where are you going?" I asked "I can't work here any more" she said leaving out the door. "Well that was weird" I said to Candi, and Asia since we were the only ones here at the moment "What happened?" Asia asked "She said how she was sorry for everything and just quit" I said "She also said she's pregnant" I added "Something has been really off about her lately though" Candi said "I know we'll find out sooner or later" Asia said "Maybe it's another Thembi situation?" I asked "Maybe" Candi said. Once I got off work I had to go get my nails, and toes done. My hair appointment wasn't until the morning, after I left the nail shop I called Fah, I know what your thinking Fah? Yes Fah Papi was with her and I had to go get him and Meek never seems to answer his phone anymore so I have to call her instead. "Can you send me your baby shower invitation again, Id love to come and drop off the gifts I got for baby Riley" Kira texted me as I was about to text back she texted me again saying "I am also very sorry for what happened today I am not handling this pregnancy very well and my baby's father thinks that I should be stress free which means no job for right now." "I totally understand and you are welcomed to come tomorrow." I sent following a picture of the invitation.
